Thanks! I think it's the angle, it makes her look so tiny.

Marley's ears seem a little big, but to me that makes him look even more cute.

After looking at lots and lots yorkie photos and paying particular attention to the top half of the subjects, I think there are more yorkies with larger ears then smaller ones! I haven't seen many yorkies with tiny ears! I think Bailey's may even be....average size:eek: :D

Molly has floppy ears, but they would look quite big if they stood up. She also looks like she has a big head, but really she just has big hair!! :D

Chloe's ears were more in proportion when they were floppy, which I personally prefered, but they have since stood up. She has an exceptionally tiny face and features so her large ears look that much larger...almost batlike. I'm hoping as she reaches adulthood her face / head will become more in proportion. Otherwise, I like the advice of removing the top 1/3 of hair from them.

Whatever you do, don't tell Chloe...she thinks she's adorable ( and so do we! )

Derby has big ears, and they have never stood up. When they do, or when one does, (when he's excited, curious, etc) they eventually just bend backwards until he flips them back down.

Lola has HUGE ears, she is on the left obviously. Zach has tiny little ears. you can definitely tell the difference in this picture!

I think Baileys look average. ;)

The vet told me last time he saw Taylor she's a great little specimen but he just hopes she grows into her ears! I clipped her hair off them this weekend so she looks a little more normal, but i still think they are larger than average :) when she had the long hair on them WOW! My boyfriend thinks it's cute!

That's the first thing i notice when i look at a picture of Ella. She has these huge ears and a sort of tiny head. She's still my pretty little girl though. Don't mind her bed head. Ha ha.

By the way, Bailey is beautiful. I love his big ears. =]

Bailey and all of the dogs shown on this thread are SUPER adorable! Biggie has very large ears. We decided to keep them floppy when he was a pup. We just refrained from taping the ears and we kept his ear hair long. He went through a few weeks where they started to come up dispite the long hair but in the end they stayed floppy.

My big eared pup grew into her ears nicely. But as a puppy, I thought she was Dumbo the elephant.

My Poppy's ears are enormous... I am currently searching for a proper picture that conveys JUST how huge.

Here is the most recent, but they don't look as big as they truly are. I love her goofy ears!!! :p

Cha Cha's ears as a pup are AWESOME!!! She did grow nicely into them.

Snick has huge ears...check him out in my avatar!! That was his 1st birthday last July!!

I love him to bits!!

Your avatar always catches my attention. Snick is oh! Soo cute!

It is not that I necessarily think Yorkies have big ears, or one more than another, there are just so many different ways to trim them, or leaving them long that gives each one such different character. More so than many other breeds of dogs. I love that bout them. Like with my Cha Cha, her hair actually extended out about a half inch longer than her ear really was making them look terribly long, then that hat smooched down her head hair that actually concealed the real length of them. LOL. SO cute everyone!! Loving all the pics..
