Please Pray for Bella!!!
 
One of my best friend's yorkie, ate part of her mother's blood pressure pill and is in ICU...Her name is Bella...Debbie, her mom, has never had children (she's 46) and this is her baby (4 yrs. old)...Bella is the reason I got Apple...Pray for a miracle and guidance to all who are tending her...Thank you...will keep you posted...

Oh my goodness I will pray for Bella and for the doctors attending her. Poor little girl,I pray she makes a complete recovery.

E.R is on w/poison control...She apparently has four more hrs, to go to be in the clear...This happened earlier this a.m.

Prayers going out. Please keep us posted. This is one of my greatest fears. Ever so often I'll drop a pill while messing with mine and I've always been lucky enough to beat them to it. I know a bite of one of my pain pills would kill them. It happens, but it scares me to death. Hopefully, they can keep her stable until this gets through her little system.

Any word yet on the puppy?

We have and we continue to practice with Starr to not pick up dropped items, this is one of our biggest concerns that she will pick up the wrong thing. I can drop a treat in front of her and she will not pick it until my wife or I tell her it is OK to have it.

We practice by dropping a treat in front of her, telling her to leave it, leave it lay for a little while and then pick it up, let her see that the treat she is being rewarded with is not the same treat as the one on the floor.

This is very good advice, and I'm going to take heed of it, w/my two...I'm not much of one to train pups, but this incident has opened my eyes...I'm also going to copy/paste it for Debbie, because I just know, in my heart, Bella is going to pull through...I believe in the power of prayer, and so does Debbie and her mom...I don't know what people do, that don't have faith?

I have been worried about Bella since I read this. Any news on how she is doing????? What a worry for her mom!!!!

Just talked w/Debbie...She's still getting fluids, via IV, but every hr. passing by is more positive...We've only got to wait, until 1:00 p.m., now, and she's looking good...Part of the timed release capsule was still in her beard, so they feel she may not have ingested too much...Debbie wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers...Btw, Bella kept licking her mouth over and over, and wouldn't go to sleep about 1 this a.m., so Debbie started investigating...Thank goodness she didn't let it go, and got her to ER...Thank you all so much for your prayers...I keep telling Deb to come on to YT, because it is the best site on the planet, for support, love, prayers and caring to help each other raise our kidz...Thanks again, and will post at 1, when Debbie is able to know all is well...I'm feeling positive now...

Thanks again, for all your prayers...I have to be honest, and say that I haven't talked w/Debbie, in a while, today...I'm sure everything must be o.k...Unfortunately, she was giving her neice a wedding shower for 100 guests, today (and a few other of her family members, of course,) and I know she's been up all night, and probably beside herself w/all that has been going on...Knowing Debbie, she'll duck out of the shower, and go get Bella, and bring her back w/her...She's like that...Bella goes everywhere w/her! I will post, once I've heard from her, but, again, things must be o.k., or she would have called...Perhaps the ER talked her into leaving Bella for 24 hrs...That's what they wanted to do, but she insisted on picking her up, after she was out of the woods...
