Get a coupler! I did and I'm so glad. In the mornings when we go out for them to potty I keep the separate leashes and I'm sure my neighbors get a kick out of watching my stumbling tangled mess... but when we go for walks I put the coupler on, it's soooo much easier to walk them. 1 leash, 2 dogs side by side! |
I don't have one of those coopler leads but I did tie two leashes together at one end and tried that. It kind of worked but they still would want to have their own space. I thought two was hard, now I have 3 and we took them to the park and I REALLY look funny because Annabelle is a puller and fast walker. Zach likes to go slow and smell everything, and Lola is always hopping like a bunny  While we were at the park my fiancee gave me Geneva ( bull terrier for a few mins.) WOW was that difficult walking 4 together. I'm not getting no more dogs, once this one is gone back to my moms I am HAPPY and CONTENT with the ones I have. We are always going for walks and I like to enjoy it some what with the two I walk. lol |
I got a coupler and just love it. It works great for 2 dogs. I take 2 dogs at a time for a walk. Haven't tried walking 4 at a time, I'm happy just to be able to walk 2. |
If the two dogs are a lot different in size, would the coupler still work? Ringo is a 15 lb Westie and Lucy is 4 lbs. It seems like they would only go where Ringo wants to go if I use a coupler. I've thought about trying one. Also, Ringo can be a little aggressive with strange dogs; I really have to keep him focused on moving forward when we encounter strange dogs . . do you think a coupler would work for me? |
Can someone post a picture of the coupler? :) |
