THIS site with Pictures is the best directions I've ever seen.....For those learning how to do Bows and Topknots - GO SEE :thumbup: ...you'll LOVE the easy steps and pictures - :)

That is a great site. Thanks! I dont like putting topknots in because Jewels ends up with squinty eyes. I will try this method.

Thank you so much for that link. Neither Patton nor Lipstik have hair long enough yet to be able to do to this topknot, but I've saved it on my Favs.

HAHA !! I know - Poor Chanel is such a good sport - I can't tell you how many times I think I have a perfect bow.... only to see her sitting there with her eyelids where her ears are

This is one of my favorite pictures and what she REALLY looks like getting her hair done ...lol..poor GIRL !! :eek: Mommy is so mean (I'm NOT pulling hard - but it sure looks like it though)

Great site! Thanks Villette :D i like the step by step WITH pics, i will give it my best try tomorrow - ive tried it on the girls SO many times, Chanel's hair is still too short for a top knot, even her pony tail flops down after a while and she looks like scruff, for some reason she LOVES to pull Chelsey's pony tail out when im not looking :rolleyes: .... she gives poor Chelsey a hard time when i leave them "home alone" i should video tape them lol

Villette, that is one of the funniest pics of your girls I have seen. Mine look that way too, but at least you get the knot in the middle. Mine just look like they have 2 ears on one side and 1 on the other. AND, the others pass their opinion on the topknots by pulling out the band and playing chewing gum with it..

You girls make me laugh till I'm almost sick!!! My little Gracie gets her eyes pulled up too!!!! There are times, though, that I wonder if she's faking that eye thing so I'll take it down!! This reminds me of the time that my beautiful little red-headed daughter was screaming when I was putting barrettes in her hair because I had caught the top of her EAR in it!!!! She's 35 and STILL reminds me of it!!! :D

I think male Yorkie's are fabulous in top knot bows. They also have such great boyish charm/bows and such out there now for them.

ME too !! They have sports bows ...trains ...cars....GI Joe stuff - gorgeous boy colors - If I had a boy he would for sure be wearing a bow

This is so funny! I thought I was the only one who had this problem because I have never heard anyone talk about it. I just thought I couldnt put up a topknot. Funny funny!

While that is a good site too - it has 14 STEPS to click in - this one I just saw the other day has like 5 steps and you just scroll down -

I did Chanels bow perfectly using the site I posted about - the other one I had to keep clicking into and it just had too many pages....but BOTH are helpful

This is great. All this time I was doing it wrong. In previous instructions when they said corner of eyes, I always thought they meant the OUTER :eek: corners and that is where I have be doing it. I can't wait to get home and do it correctly. Geez. My poor Roxie. All this time she has been fashion disaster :embarasse

I also was doping the outer part of the eye. How can one read directions and think differently? To me, the outer part of the eye meant the opposite of what they wanted! Old Age? The only thing I don't like, is the rubber bands seem too hard to get out as she starts wiggling etc. I end up pulling them out when she pulls and then have a mess. I went to the other site, and they have you teasing the hair, I am afraid I would not do that to her hair. Interesting, though. I usually just twist the hair where the barrette will go, and then folding it around my finger and jputting in a barrette. I take it out each day and re-do. Sometimes, I have to re-do more than once a day beacause of her pulling it out. kShe loves to do this and then drop it at my feet! Little Stinker!
