Can this be a yorkie?!?! I saw this ad and is interested in getting her...but is she a yorkie? I have never seen a yorkie that color even the parti ones... AKC Parti Yorkie | Merced | Kijiji | 2431890 I am debating the yorkie or the coton/maltese because I really like coton and maltese and why not get the best of both worlds? She looks DARLING! I can't seem to choose... Coton Maltese | Victorville | Kijiji | 2157667 I don't know if I should get another yorkie or the coton/maltese. Let me hear your opinions! :D |
I would have a hard time choosing which one. I am not sure if the first one is a Yorkie. I am still new to them. I love the first one. |
The price seems to good to be true. Really do your homework here. I think the ears being down on the first one gives a different look to the Yorkie face. I personally love pic #1. What a sweetie. Vanilla seems to fit her. Good luck, |
oh my gosh ide scoop that yorkie up in a heartbeat she is SOOOO cute and more rare get that baby |
I don't think it fits the standard but I have seen Yorkies with that coloring. |
yorkie maybe the first one is a Biewer yorkie? she looks adorable & only 8 months I would get her |
Vanilla is darling. They both are cute but you can't see much of the second pup other than the face. I guess I would be more likely to look into Vanilla :) |

She's not a Biewer either. Biewer's have black on their backs and in the face. |
She is beautiful. Yorkie or not wow. |
Like the first one also. Adorable! |
The first pic doesn't look like the baby is full bred but I could be wrong??? I think they are both sooooo cute tho!!! :) Quote:

However, the point is moot...as the ad does say she is an AKC parti yorkie. I assume she is a gold parti. To the op...just picture this little girl blue and tan. She would look like 75 % of the pet quality yorkies on this very site. I think she is adorable and would make a very nice pet. And...she is reasonable priced for a parti yorkie too. :) |
I always recommend people only support good breeders, if you are looking for a pet, the rescues and shelters have so many that need a good home. I think of it as supporting good breeding practices instead of buying a dog. Breeders who breed this way are generally not doing any of the recommended health testing, and just breed whatever dogs that are on site. Just one surgery for Luxating Patella can cost $1600, what do you do then? You also can't be sure how the breeding pair is being treated, if you don't visit the breeder's home. The first dog is said to be a parti yorkie, and the second dog is part Maltese, you can find dogs like this in many rescues, why give greeders money for them? One good thing about a yorkie is that they seem like a puppy all of their lives, so a two year old is so much like a puppy, except for the fact that he's potty trained, at least in most cases! |

hmmm, I beg to differ because according to Biewer breeders that I spoke with (before Cerise when I thought I wanted one) the color black in their coat is a must have  I hope an actual reputable Biewer breeder comes on here to correct me if I'm wrong, because I am curious. |
