Oh and biewers have tails. ;) There are standard colored yorkies and parti colored yorkies. Both can be AKC registered. Partis are considered to have a color fault per YTCA and can't compete in AKC confirmation events. Biewers orginated in Germay in 84, were imported to the US in 2003 and as yet are not recognized by AKC. They are recognized in other countries and can be shown in rare breed shows here in the US. |
I meant in appearance... |
The biewers have a standard--4 white legs, at least the tip of the tail white, the chest is white and 3 colors in the face--which makes them so much prettiers imho. |

I think the problem with these types of threads are that people are truly asking questions, trying to get clear answers....and then it takes one person getting upset with things not being written as they feel it should be. Then, as we have all seen....it goes from a question to arguing pretty quickly. Again, this was not my intentions....I was just answering her. |
What breed is the Biewer? I have what is called a golden. She is beautiful, and I was told goldens are legit and AKC registered. Mine is registered AKC - not that it matters to me. I love ALL DOGS, whether mutt or pedigree. They all love the same. l0l |

since the pedigrees list them as being Yorkshire Terriers and since their orgin is in Germany maybe that is where they need to be registered someone smarter than me will have to figure that one out. But i do understand that show people would like to be inc. in akc shows |
The Biewers as their own breed are competing in the rare show breed rings. While the Parti, golden, may be AKC registered, they cannot compete in any showrings and are specifically described as faults. |
