It is nice to hear about good people doing the right thing for a change. We have had so many sad stories of late. Congratulations on getting him back safe and sound! PS: I would definitely think about getting that couple a nice bottle of wine! |
What a good ending! You are very lucky. Could you maybe shut him in your room when you are gone from now on? |
Thanks everyone! I think even he knows he's lucky! LoL! He's been attached at my hip every since.... Well today he's finally start to loosen up and be his normal barky self. It's good to see! I love his fearless personality. haha! |
Lil Missy... I think that's what is going to have to happen. He's going to hate it and be barking and scratching at the door, but that's better than him getting out again. My daughter sometimes gets here before me so I'll have to talk with her about it too... Its funny how we keep such a close eye on them and notice after a few minutes when there gone. But other people, even who live with you won't notice for hours. But I guess you can't really expect them too. But it was a little frustrating that the roommate had friends over coming in and out wout even thinking to tell them to lock the screen behind them (we always keep our screen locked) or to put Benjamin in my room while the front door was going to be having in and out traffic. |
Wow I'm so sorry you had to go through that but so glad it worked out and you got him back. It is nice when someone returns a yorkie to their home. Sometimes it doesn't happen. So great you got him back so soon too. |
Wow I'd of lost it too if either of my dogs got loose and I couldn't find them!! I'm sorry to hear about your tough situation but very happy to hear you got him back safe and sound! :D |
I'm so happy for both of you that he is home safe and sound!!! |
Im so glad that you got your baby back. Maybe you should do what we do and put a gate up in the door way. its a piin stepping over it while going in and out but its so worth it knowing your baby will be safe and cant sneak past someone coming or leaving. |
I am really glad you got your happy ending! |
I am so glad you got Benjamin back. I bet you got lots of Yorkie kisses. |
Glad your baby is back a story to warm your heart I am so glad for your happy ending..that must have been the longest night of YOUR LIFE! It is good to know that there are honest people out there and your baby was not harmed or injured God knows what could have happened to him. Finding a way to know that he is safe from getting out when you are not home will help so you deal better. Hope you get his microchip ASAP:D Your story reminds me of this........ Many years ago my son brought home a dog after soccer practice that he said looked lost with no collar or ID. The dog looked like he was a well groomed house dog and well taken care of and out of place "on the streets"! My son's instincts where right on.....he knew from me always bringing home lost pets that the dog would be safer with us and not roaming the streets alone at night. We put him up and made him cozy for the night. Early the next morning a husband & wife came to the door with flyer about a missing dog when my son (who happened to answer the door) tell them he thought we had their dog. :pThe lady let out a blood curdling scream so loud that it just about broke our ear drums. She just about trampled us over getting to the dog sleeping in the laundry room-(who was hers by the way) and was sobbing because like you she had been out all night putting up flyers on trees, ringing doorbells and imagining the WORST! When she found out the my son Chris had brought her baby to our home to keep him safe until we found her owner she hugged and squeezed him until he was red with embarrassment (he was like 12) She came back with a $200.00 cash gift for Chris which I thought was unneccessary because he did it out of his heart and did not ask for a reward.... but he was a kid and she insisted he take it! The moral of the story is there are good people out there and you and your baby encountered them and I wish you both the best!:animal36 Loree:kiss: Sydney Rose:aimeeyorkLacey Rose:aimeeyork Foster Mommy to Rocco:animal37 Rizzo mommy misses you my sweet darling:rbyorkie::hearts-xx:hearts-xx |
