She is adorable. Just out of curiosity, does she try to boss your cairn around? I got a "yorkie sister" for my cairn. She is 2 years younger than he (he is 3 1/2) and she let's him know in no uncertain terms that she is the boss. He takes it very well, as he could probably seriously put a hurtin' on her if he chose to do so.

Is she longer than taller? if you go to my site you can read about the similarities and differences between yorkies and silkies.. I breed silkies and she looks very silkie to me from your pictures..

no matter what she is she is LOVELY...

yes she is longer then tall, that was one thing I noticed right away. I still haven't gotten word back yet from previous owner on registration papers. I looked at a lot of pictures of both yorkies and silkies and just got even more confused ha ha! I have a friend who has a silkie yorkie mix and she thinks silkie too...but she is only 8lbs so i dont know but yes either way i LOVE her!!!!

Yes she does! I thought it was just cause she was older and my cairn is still a pup (Mazy the cairn is 4.5 months old where Karma, the yorkie, is 2 years old) she can be really mean to Mazy too! Especially if Mazy wants to sit on my ottaman with us. Although Mazy can be just as mean back over food and 'daddy' I got Mazy as a christmas gift from my husband. Well she never really took to me. she would sleep with the kids and didn't want anything to do with me. She always loved my husband though. So for my birthday I asked for another little dog for ME lol So I got Karma. Mazy also gets pissy if Karma barks for any reason (which is just about ALL reasons right now lol, although I am sure as she adjusts to our home and the pack she will bark less, she listens to me when I tell her "no more Karma, that's a good girl" she stops barking. my old 18 year old mutt, Snoopy, used to bark at everything, knock on the table and her looking at you when you did it, she would light up in loud barks lol i would say oh good girl enough now, and she would stop) its rather annoying how these two girls fight! like sisters for sure! in fact today I told them both they were worse then my 5 and 9 year old sons!!! lol

Nip that fighting in the bud so that it doesn't escalate as they get older. Show em who's boss.

thank you, and yes i have been nipping it! She is getting better. but they take turns especially when are hyped up. Mazy will do her zoomies and run past Karma almost like "ha ha you can't catch me!" and then other times Mazy jumps on Karma when Karma has the zoomies or is barking at something/someone. And when I yell at one of them, the other always trys to "help" correct the situation. So both are getting lessons on equalness and that *I* am the pack leader lol..although Karma has put my VERY alpha border collie female in her place!

house trained and spayed were the two tags that got me in her ad! lol and of course FREE! lol And some how I beat out 20 other people and was chosen! yay! for me! So of course we went on a shopping spree at Petco since she was free! and then a vet appt check up which was when i found out about her knee. i just love her colors and her size and her face and her bigish ears and her personality..and..and.. Okay I just LOVE HER! he he
