I just noticed in one of Rizzos moms other threads she states that this rescue boy is 8.5 lbs.. That is much larger than Yoshi!

that is so sweet of you....from a pm someone sent me telling me that the microchip should not be the reason that stops me from flying out to CA to see if there is any chance that is him...as much as i would love to jump on the next flight to whereever he is...i don't have the funds to do it....i still am in between jobs...seems like i sit here and submit my resume to at least 100 jobs daily and till this day still have not heard from any of them...and from the ones i hear from i have not heard back....so it's doesn't look good from my point of view....and the unemployment i am barely getting is barely making ends meet....

wow 8.5 lbs is pretty far off from the 3.12 lbs when he went missing....and his tiny frame would not be able to support that weight without it leaving him unable to get up and walk around....i guess it's not him...

thank you for everyone's suggestion and concerns...guess this was another failed attempt on my part....this thread can probably be closed out now since it turned out to false hope due to my emotions...

he looks like he could lose 5 lbs of hair...if that isnt yoshi then its yoshi reincarnated either way she wants to find a home for him..i think that dog needs u and u him

if i could i would...but right now with current situation with everything i am in no way able to bring home another dog that is not mine.....not that i don't have a big heart but because financially i am not able to nor do i have the time or patience to help this one get over his aggression and it would not be fair to him....and i would never put a dog in that type of situation....if all of it lands on me.

that sight where you spotted this dog says he is going to be put up for adoption soon. It does not look like an 8 pound dog at all. Please don't give up until you know for sure if this is your Yoshi. Do you know the lady's name that is taking care of him? If she isn't responding maybe she wants to keep him.

Well don't completely give up yet.. Have you talked to anyone at the YTNR or are you communicating with Rizzos Mom? I don't understand what is taking so long on the microchip thing and at the shelters here, they just guess the weight.. Shoot if you told me my kallie who is 5.8 lbs was 8.5 I wouldnt argue..I am an idiot when it comes to weight....lol...I would be lost without my scale..Atleast see what the microchip comes back to although that doesn't prove anything.. U need to talk to Rizzos mom and have her call him Yoshi when he isn't looking. Also, a pic of his face might help you know for sure...I think I would recognize my babies faces...It's hard to tell when you can't see Roccos eyes.. I did not mean to shatter your hopes... I am soooo sorry!!!! Don't give up, stranger things have happened!!!

Don't give up yet. Like someone mentioned all the hair could add weight.
Besides nothing has been confirmed yet. Speculation means nothing.
Wait until you speak to someone from YTNR or the foster mother herself.
Mistakes happen in typing, thinking and second guessing.

it's ok...i knew that by me assuming it would lead to some heartache...but the UNKNOWN till this day is still driving me crazy....and you didn't shatter my hopes...although i did hope it was him i was also prepared for it not to be.....i am feeling sick to my tummy...well been feeling like this since yesterday...nauseating and puking....well it's back so I am going to go lay down and hope that it goes away!

i will continue to monitor this thread and the other one...and wait to hear back from the foster mom....but for right now i have to go lay down....or i will start puking for feeling sick to my tummy...thank you...

btw way i just googled the 402 area code and that points to Omaha, NE which is not to far from here either...about 5.5 hrs from here...

Mary the way I see it almost everyone that has viewed this thread those pictures thinks its him. I would not let the microchip/slight difference in hair color or the difference in size turn me away from this. chance of it being your baby.
Hair color can change over time. and being this poor dog was a mess many things could change the look not to mention lighting from the picture. as for weight from the pictures they look about the same size and you know what size your baby was. yet the pictures look so close in size. many people guess the weight so I would not go by that either.

I noticed on the other rescue thread she has been having problems attaching newer pictures of him. if thats still the case many here on YT can help her with that. she can email any of us and we can post them for her and you.

some have offered to help get this baby to you if it is him.

I hope the OP gets back with you soon, I know if It was me I couldn't think straight, Id be so happy thinking I might of found this rescues owners.
