thank you to everyone for their suggestions, advice, ideas, prayers and hope....i guess tomorrow morning i will have an for sure answer....but i am going to call it a day...it has been one long stressful pass few days..and i have been fighting a migraine off and on for the last 2 weeks but these last 2 days has been very unbearable that i get nauseated at the slightest movements, light and sound that i causes me to puke....i am going to try to lay down and pray that the spinning doesn't take over my head....hopefully i will be able to check in tomorrow to see what she found out....good night... |
Roccos Foster mom reply As his foster mom I just wanted to give my thoughts about Rocco possibly being Yoshi. I told Mary that I would do everything humanly possible to see if this is her dog. I would want a yt member to do that for me! Honestly I HOPE IT IS HER DOG! Yes dog thieves or even just dishonest people will take a dog pass it off as their own at the vets office and re-chip a dog. Whether this is Yoshi or not this dog is in CA and and he started out in the mid-west from the chip that he does have. I have 2 other yorkies one is 11lbs and one is 5 lbs and Rocco is definately 7 to 8lbs not 3.5lbs just by holding him. I was going to make an appointment for Rocco at my vet for his exam soon as a rescue but with this Yoshi situation I expedited this to tomorrow morning and asked if their scanner would pick up ResQ and they said yes. I personally think that if he has two chips the shelter would be the one that would have missed it and rushed him through the scanning process and not be thorough. Lets all hope and pray that Yoshi comes home either through this situation or he is found! I have my fingers crossed! Loree......Foster mommy to Rocco :animal37:lovewings |

Mary I really feel for your pain right now hoping it's Yoshi and not getting your hopes up to high. I do not know if this is Yoshi or not and like everyone else praying and hoping it is. I do want to tell you that Yoshi will still remember you even though it's been a year or so, I know this because I just went through this with one of our miltary foster dogs after a little more then a 2 years of him not seeing or hearing his owner it took Ziggy only a few sec. to remember him and it was like he had never left. |

Rizzo's mom I personally feel that you are really trying to help figure out if this is Yoshi i dont believe any yorkietalk member would withhold another members dog if they knew it was theres kudos to you |

( HUGS) Mary. This has got to be so hard on you. please try and rest we dont want you getting sick. I pray that this is your baby. but even if its not you did all that you could. Rizzo's mom thank you for getting back with Mary. Good luck at the vets tomorrow. I wouldn't worry about getting him cleaned up for pictures. just try and get a few to post. I know on your other thread you said you had newer pictures but it said they was to big to post. maybe you could share those here. it was the ones after you had said you tried grooming him your self. those should be ok pics to go by. |

Good morning Mary, Hope your feeling a bit better. I can't imagine how hard this has been on you, never getting closure on your little one just reliving the horror of his disapearance daily. I truly hope today, whatever the outcome, will bring you much needed peace. I also hope and pray, this is your baby boy so your nightmare will end and you can get on with you life as it was. Hugs, |

WOW! Mary...I can't even IMAGINE what you are going through right now. I am praying this is your Yoshi as I remember all to well the countless ideas and searches that we all offered to find him. A special prayer to his Foster Momma too for all she is doing to expedite an answer. I will be checking back..... |
