yes and also i have read that a yorkie can break their color up to 3 years of age...also from yoshi being gone over a year now...i wonder if sunlight and weather could also lighten hair color?

I don't think he's in rescue. If I remember correctly, this was posted in the rescue section, but he was in a shelter. Elaine

no he is now in a foster home.....he was pulled from a shelter by a ytnr foster mom i believe just a few days ago.

Kacee's hair can look a totally different color in different lighting as well

All I can say is - wow! It looks like Yoshi to me! I'm hoping and praying for you. I enlarged both pics and put them side by side. The only difference I thought I could see besides the difference in lighting was and this is perhaps the size of the ears. As closely as I was looking, I still couldn't tell for sure on the ears.

Oh my goodness. I don't know why but looking at those pictures just made me tear up. I hope hope hope x 10000000 that it is him.

yeah i was also comparing the ears but the on the rescue it looks like the hair has grown over unlike the picture of yoshi...i dunno i am sure i am just putting my hopes out there...hehe...its ok...i will not stop looking until i have no for sure there is no point in looking.

Looks the same to me...and I think she said he was very dirty when she picked him up so maybe this is why the coloring if off??

The resemblance is uncanny however Yoshi's chip was registered and apparently this dog's was never registered....

If she's fostering...do you know who she's fostering for? I think you need to get in touch with those people.

Yes, the coloring is a little different but that could just be the lighting or the camera. Looks to me to be the same dog but it would help if we could see his eyes (in any of the pics). Praying that you are reunited with your baby!!

ok, i'm sticking my nose in again :-) 1st the hair...the rescue pup doesn't look like he's had a bath for a while so that will effect the color plus the breaking stage. 2nd...don't rely too much on the weight unless it's insanely different becaue like you said it's been over a year and there is really no way to determine what's happened over the past year and what he's been eating. and something bothers me about the micro chip not being registered....when Sam was chipped the vet sent the paperwork in that day...maybe he is registered but something is wrong with the chip. I can't see someone paying to have them chipped and not following through with it's registration. I'm really holding out hope for you. Good luck and come home soon Yoshi!!

They look like the same dog to me! I have my fingers crossed that this is him and will be hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for a reunion!
