When I have to leave my Yorkie at home during the day, I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on leaving on a radio which plays music and has talking or putting in a cd on repeat. Just wondering if it might help calm her in case she gets upset. Does anyone else do this?

We leave the TV on for Diva and Davinci. They stay in my oldest daughter's room during the day and Diva is such a princess. She just lays around in bed and watches TV all day. If we forget to leave it on, she lets us know by pouting that evening when we get home.

Yes, we always leave the radio or tv on when we go out and can't take them with us.

Lots of them like Animal Planet.

If I ever leave mine at home, which isn't very often, I always leave the TV on for her.

I've been putting on the movie Finding Nemo...LOL It's the only Disney movie I own. I'm thinking about buying others. Cerise is beginning to realize I'm heading out the door when I start that movie. Today I started it and she ran and sat in the chair, then I said "Mommy work" and walked out and locked the door.

I hate leaving her.

Daisy loves animal planet, but she barks the whole time it is on. I don't think she gets it that it is tv and not RL. she barks at any animal on TV. lol

Sugar didn't like TV or radio, she think they are "noisy" and she will even bark louder if she's alone with TV or radio

Yep, Pixel LOVES watching animals on TV, so I always leave Animal Planet on for him during the day while I'm at work

I leave the TV on Lifetime or BRAVO! Since that's what me and Teddy watch when we are together anyways. lol.

I always leave the tv on when I have to leave my furbabies home alone. I think it is nice for them to have some sort of noise in the house.

I leave the TV on, turned low, and to a news station that has only talk and no music. I know I have see a CD for dogs that is supposed to have real soothing music that a dog is supposed to like, but I can't remember where.

I live the TV on for these two muchkins...Now when Hubby watched Shay when I was in chicago, he left Rock and Roll on the radio....and Shay LOVED it...lol...

I leave the Ipod on with my favorite worship musics... they love it! My Lola sings alone sometimes.... funny , really cute ! I think they enjoy it a lot !
