Why does this have to happen to me
 
My poor baby is lost in this mean world. She got out when someone left the door open, shes been missing since yesterday around 5. I reaally miss her. Im a mess, please help me pray that she returns home safely and real soon.

Did you go door to door asking if people have seen her??

Oh no, that's terrible to hear :( I lost my Jack Russell a few years back and the person who found him took him into the local vet. But I was devastated...so don't give up hope and do everything you can to find her. Knock on every person's door if you have to, put up fliers, offer a reward and notify all the vets and shelters and even schools in the vicinity.

I pray you find her soon, and perhaps she will manage to find her own way home? My Yorkie got out on New Years Eve and ran away from the fireworks but managed to find her way into the nighbours garden and we found her because she knew where her home was even though she was only 4 months. Good luck, let us know what happens

I found her Thank God ive never been so relieved.
A ladys husband found her and took her in. today while passing our house she saw a lost dog poster and called us. :)

Im so happy words cant express it

Oh I am so relieved and happy for you! I think you should put up a baby gate in front of the door --that's what we do. Maybe get a trainer to teach her not to go out the door without you picking her up to take her out. Oh hug that little sweet baby for me! Thank G-d it had a happy ending.

Wonderful news. Maybe your little baby missed you so much she won't try that again. Yorkies are so smart, it doesn't take them long to figure things out.

I'm so happy you found her. Last year my little Heidi old who was almost 17 yrs old slipped outside when I had the other two right outside the front door. Heidi was blind, deaf and old and I never thought about her being able to get down the steps. I thought she was in her bed sleeping and when I got ready to go to bed and hour later and went to get her she was not there-she was not anywhere. I was running around crying and calling for her and my husband heard me and got up (it was 3am) to help me look for her. We live on 5 1/2 acres, it was dark, cold and we have coyotes. I was just devasted. My poor little baby made it all the way to the far back side of my property and fell in a 2 ft fence hole that the neighbors had dug. We would have never found her if she had not been barking. I was never so relieved to have her back in my arms and I kept her within eyesight from then until we lost her 3 weeks ago. She was 18 yrs old. I know you are sooo relieved.

That such a wonderful story its so touching. I felt your pain I couldnt stop crying when i was asking around it was terrible i got hugs from atleast 3 stanger. Im just happy everythings okay

I'm really glad you found her. As I've learned, Miami isn't the greatest place to lose a Yorkie and you were very lucky to have an honest person call you. There are so many that get picked up, or dropped off somewhere, by people that don't care and are just looking for a way to make a buck. Some just want to keep the dog and to heck with any LOST posters, as I'm believing happened to Genie's Cookie.
