Yorkie Dads? Hi all! I am just wondering if there are any yorkie fathers among us? I mean, Human/people dads that is!! :icon5: :animal36 |
There are lots of Yorkie dads just not many online. There are some here!:D |
These are just a few that I can think of: alaskayorkie Denzilla scoota dobsonj |
Add me to that list :) Lola was suppose to be my little sisters dog but my parent refused to have a dog full time because they knew they would be responsible..long story short I took Lola to live with me and now I'm in love...LOL I couldn't imagine life with out her...its funny how much they grow on you...I'm wanting another one :) My parents are coming around and will pick her up when I have to work long hours but they like that they can give her back to me at the end of the day..kindof like grandkids! |
Yorkie Daddy My husband is on here ... he's a very dedicated Dad to our Yorkies. He still works, and I'm already retired, so his time is limited. Usually, I find stuff related to our needs and have him read it in the evening. Lucky me - both our babies are sleeping in my lap - recovering from Monday's spay/neuter. :) Zencrap (leader of the pack and Mommy to Bella :aimeeyork and Mojo :aimeeyork & wife to Bluewave ) |

I'm a Yorkie Dad. Our first Yorkie was named Roxy, which I bought for my wife when Molly passed. Problem was that she took up with me! So the next year Sherry said that she wanted her own yorkie! We went back to the local breeder and purchased Daisy and I stayed away so she could bond with Sherry. Worked great! Roxy and Daisy were just GREAT companions for over 14 years and loved to travel in cars or our RV. I lost Roxy in 2004 while I was in Portland recovering from a Liver Transplant. Sherry lost Daisy last fall and we were without yorkie's untill Sherry surprised me with the best Christmas present ever when she told me that she had purchased Mojo (male) and Bella from a breeder in NM. It has been so much fun having these two dogs training us to handle ALL their needs. Had them fixed on Monday, but they had a hard night Monday and both were sick today. I had to take Mojo back to the vet and he got a shot today. He yelped very loud, but not when he was injected, but when the medicine stared going in. It was just terrible to hear him yelp so and also that he was being hurt. When I got him home he just went into his crate and when to sleep. I sure do hope that he has a better day tomorrow. :aimeeyork |

Well, I signed up today for Yorkie Talk but have been a Yorkie "Dad" for a lot of months. First to Gigio, now Chanel and Enzo. :animal36:animal36 Wife Jacki has been an avid reader slightly longer than I have but we are both here everyday! Rgds to all!:) |
Thank you. Mojo got out of his crate (I leave the door open a lot) around 1 this morning and jumped up on the bed last night. He was feeling and acting so much better this morning when I left for work. Bella is doing AOK also! |
Brand new Yorkie dad here. Bought Miss Ellie Mae for my daughter who visits on the weekend. Miss Ellie live with me full time tho. She's utterly adorable and more playful than a kitten. She still has issues like hit or miss puppy pad usage but she's getting better. She's only 6 weeks old and still very small. Yesterday I accidentally kicked her across the kitchen floor. No harm done tho, she never left the ground, just slid. |

Hi to all fellow Yorkie Dads. It's hard to tell who's who from screen names (except maybe John Stelting), and I'm just as guilty as anyone in assuming all are ladies, except for a few guys that I know of. It's nice to see the guys post. Jim |
