So my sweet baby boy is a Daddys boy! The Daddy who really didn't want us to bring him home in the first place is now in love with this dog lol:rolleyes:. He follows Daddy around the house, jumps up and down when he comes home, puts his paws up in the air when he wants Daddy to pick him up, Lays with Daddy on the couch....it is just wrong I tell ya!
He is a traitor....I had to beg and plead hubby to let me have him and now he loves Daddy best! :p | I am smiling and remembering how this happened to me. Bred Baby(maltese/yorkie mix)to yorkie. Sister wanted one of baby's puppies. Baby had 5 puppies. Had to travel up to RI to sell puppies. *(long story)! To Las Vegas to give puppy to sister. Fell in love with runt, kept her. Named her Poohbear. I DID EVERYTHING FOR this little one. My son moved home after divorce. This little THing upon returning to Ca began an immediate love affair with my son. It did not matter how or what I did. My husband was next in line after my son. I was at the end of her list. I only existed when no one else was around..... Such frustation "I know how you feel". But sorry to say she became very ill with pancreatitis. THis changed her personality in several ways. She is controlled now and a little silver lining was her affection for me. She lives for me now. She allows them to love her , etc. But I am her hero and love. I don;t suggest an illness in any way but you can cheat every day when he is not home... I think Everything is fair for Yorkie love....I would sure suggest this rather than more than 1 dog. I may be the only one that feels this way, but when there is only 1 dog, it is so much easier. They only love you not another dog, they don;t compete to see who can mark things, they don;t compete for barking abilities. They don;t compete for the food bowl. They just don;t compete !!!!!! I love each and every one of them and would not give them away but I can honestly say life was simpler and quieter with 1 little one. Just 1 converted Yorkie owner and deeply in love with this breed after so many years of so many different breeds. I have never seen such a small little ball of hair with so much love and power. They get more than any person could hope to get. If there is another life after this. I want to be a YORKIE!!!!
Do you want Poohbear to come over and talk to your little one on the advantages of you as the Super hero instead of the man???
