Traitor! So my sweet baby boy is a Daddys boy! The Daddy who really didn't want us to bring him home in the first place is now in love with this dog lol:rolleyes:. He follows Daddy around the house, jumps up and down when he comes home, puts his paws up in the air when he wants Daddy to pick him up, Lays with Daddy on the couch....it is just wrong I tell ya! He is a traitor....I had to beg and plead hubby to let me have him and now he loves Daddy best! :p |
I know what you mean Yup.....Sadie too. She looks at her daddy with stars in her eyes. She goes every where with him. She even goes on the four wheeler with him. He attached an old milk creat to the front for her with a blanket. ( he doesn't fly ) She loves it!!! I waited many-many-many years for her. He WAS one of those who thought yorkies weren't "real" dogs. It used to really upset me, but now I'm just so happy they love each other the way they do :Pawprint: |
What a brat!!! Of course, you must immediately obtain an additional Yorkie to rectify this situation. The new one will love you best... LOL |
Don't worry. He is just making sure he gets to stay. Daisy does the same thing with her daddy and ignores me. But when I leave, she freaks out and sits at the door waiting for me to come home. These little pups sure know how to wiggle their way into our lives, don't they? |
LOL that yorkie is such a sweet dog! :animal-pa |

If you do get another one, I hope the pair doesn't end up bonding with each other more than either of you. Then you'd need to get two more, one for you, and one for the hubby! :D |

So sweet! Look like you are going to have to get your own yorkie!;) |
You guys are great...I am rolling over here laughing so hard!:D |
It gets even worse when you take them to work. Mine ignores me and has a fit over the guys!:D |
I agree, you should get another! Double the fun! |
I laughed at the comments here, too! Folks ask my hubby when he is going to get a "real" dog, lol. Our little fella loves to be with him but I say it's because I'm the alpha of our pack and Sunshine Knows he can get away with more with Dad:) |
We're so bad for each other---always encouraging others to get more yorkies! lol. |
This is so true with Jersey. He likes to hang with DH and I think I get jealous. If DH sleeps in and I'm up he stays in the bed. If I sleep in and DH is up he goes right to DH. It's just not fair!! LOL:) |
I feel your pain sister! I waited for my yorkie for 28 YEARS!!! DH never wanted an indoor dog. Where is she right now? In DH's lap:rolleyes: (Of course she is up there seeing if he has any crumbs from dinner on his shirt) |
Oh I forgot to mention, we call DH the dog whisper. My daughter has a small pup Lola that is a total Mommy's girl she is always right next to her, follows her every where. When lola is at our house she is right next to DH and you would never know she was a Mommy's girl. i don't get it.LOL:) |
I jokingly told DH last night that the only reason Rusty lays with him is because he is hoping to find some food crumbs from when he is snacking. You guys are going to get me in serious trouble with all this get another Yorkie talk;) |

Do you want Poohbear to come over and talk to your little one on the advantages of you as the Super hero instead of the man??? Jessie and Poohbear |
I'm in the same boat as you all....I begged for a yorkie and finally DH let me have one....NOW, she hangs with him ALL the time....she loves me, I know I told him last night that if Lily didn't start loving me I was going to get another one who did! LOL....he Immediately hand her over to me and told her to give her mommy kisses!!!! :) It's one way to get some lovin!!!!!! She loves her mommy!!!!! |
way to go..... Hey way to gol.... Get it while you can with any tactics.... These little ones steal our hearts then just make us do their bidding. Throw us a crumb or 2 while they love it up with daddy. My little one even know time..Oh my, 5 am (like babies all over) She has meds every 12 hrs. So she picked 5 am/pm. And she is a talker... You can beg for mercy but to no avail. Just get up and give to her. Then 30 minutes until another med and another 30 minutes before last med. Then 30 min until food. She cries the whole time until the food is served so no getting a nap. At night she begins crying at 5 and looking right into your eyes licking that little pink tongue looking at the refrigerator. Mind you this is also dinner hour.... She is amazing. I have to smile and laugh or I WOULD CRY. This is absolutely the smartest breed that I know of. I would love to hear of some of the things yours do. I really think they can be compared to 2 year olds. Except for language and I am not to sure of that. What chance do we stand????;) |
Just wanted to comment that this is the most unusual color I have seen for YORKIE. We have 2 that are mixed with Maltese and are about this color. But much larger. Sunshine looks so small and that gorgeous color. How much does he weigh? |
Quote:
I am fairly convinced that he is mixed with a Maltese even though is previous owner says no. My parents have two of them and he has the same nose. He only weighs 5lbs. Of course the Vet says she thinks he is not mixed with anything and other people have told me that as well. So who knows! And me, I could care less...I love him just as much either way! |
