HELP!! Need a name for my baby!

I am new to YT and just love coming to read posts. I have a new puppy and we have YET to name her. My husband and I cannot agree on a single name. She comes to whatever we call her. I feel so bad for not hurrying up already. :embarasse She needs a name, poor thing. I know it is a personal decision, but sometimes, you just hear a name and BINGO! thats it!! Please throw out a few suggestions. Your babies all have such great names and are so creative. Here are a couple pics of her.

she looks really "Precious!" I also think she looks like she has some spice. What about "Ginger?"

is there a reason you dont' agree on any names yet? my husband doesn't like the girly stuff really (ie, princess; honey; baby; etc).
When we got Edgar he was "Dash" but i wanted a more British sounding name.

What about a combination of your names?
Do you guys have something cool in common? Art lovers, baseball, etc?

Ha! Yeah, my husband doesn't like the "girly" stuff either. He is a sports nut, hockey, baseball, football but I really can't come up with anything in regards to that for a girl :(

Awww She sure is adorable. Mine are just simple names . But most try to go with the dogs personality. Maybe Sassy? Haley, Chyanne. Missy, there are a lot of sites out there to help give you names Just type in Puppy names and it should take you to a few. Good Luck.

What about Mali----(Sounds like Molly)
I love that name! Its really a country in Africa.
But I think it has heritage.
But just the wasy it is spelled is cool to me.

Or Demi, thats cute!

I like a name that is a real name, but thats jsu me.

In that first picture she looks a little sassy to me :) , so what about Sassy or Missy??? GiGi? I LOVE Nadia and think it sounds classy and very french although I'm not sure of it's origin..I'm trying to think of some nice names that aren't overly used and common....

hehe! what about anna (as in kournikova)? she's pretty and seems to have a great personality.

then the twins um, serena and venus...
saw a chic named Danica Patric who drove in the Indy 500 (did a search for top 10 female athletes)

smoke is coming out of my ears i'm thinking so hard for you!

what is the name of his fave teams mascot?

and what about you? what sort of things do You like?

you could pick a fun name and try to find it in different languages. we had a "Teluk." my mom told me it was "sweetheart" in Thai.

My hubby likes all Pittsburgh teams, Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates..sooooo
He is a die-hard fan, he is originally from there.
I am in the South if that helps any. I did a search a while back and like the name Schatzie(means Little Darling in German) I think someone here has that name. I like different names. My name is Jalane and my sister could never pronounce it so she called me Lanie! It's pronounced Juh-lane (juh as in jug not like juice) Man you should hear people trying to say it. :rollingey But I like it.
My yorkie-poo's name is Tripper and we got him the day John Ritter died and decided to name him after his Three's Company character Jack Tripper.
Anyway, you guys are great and I love all the ideas!

ooh I like Mali and Emma, oh and Demi too, o dear, I like them all!!!

Welcome to YT. Im not feeling too creative tonight with names, so sorry I don't have many suggestions. Your baby girl is sooo adorable. :p

i went to ask.com to translate penguin and pirate into spanish and italian.

pirate is Pirata in italian!

it didn't give pronunciation, but i think it might be Pee-Rah-Tah

penguin didn't have the same ring to it.

btw, are you bouncing all of these suggestions off of your honey right now?

Not long ago I read about a little yorkie in the south named Magnolia Blossom and I loved it. I'm quite sure they called her Maggie for short. Well, you are in the south! :D

How about Sydney (after sydney crosby of the penguins). I know your puppy is a girl buy Sydney can be a girl or boy name. He is suppose to be the next gretzky , very famous hockey player.

My babies usually name themselves--eventually. I bought a little girl to hold and love. I can finally face life without my Jesse. I have held this little girl, talked with her and not one name stuck til this week-end. I called Jesse heart of my heart and this little girl is now Cara Mia translated to my beloved.
Watch your baby and she will do something or act some way and you will have an AH-HA moment..

I was trying to think of something related to sports -- and Pittsburg... and came up with a few.

Maddox (after Tom) -- I don't know how you guys feel about him, now that Ben is around...

There was a Parker -- could be a girls name?

Morgan (Quincy) -- could be a girls name.

Of course -- Bettis (kind of a stretch for a girl)

Of course, Penny -- for Pennsylvania

Just keep looking -- and the right name will pop up. That's what happened with both of mine...

I always thought if I could get another yorkie, I would use this name "ROSEBUD'
