| Ahh - this brings back memories - lol. My Bailey had to have her puppy hair shaved too. At the time, I was upset - but I look back now and giggle. You'll notice a difference every week as it grows out. Now, we keep Bailey in a bear-face puppy cut (see avatar) and I never have to comb it.

| She is so adorable! It won't take long for her hair to grow back. But she is very cute either way!

| I will have Sugar shaved too, because she didn't shower for more than 12 days after the surgery, and she wouldn't allow me to touch her hair during this period of time. I guess Sugar will have the same look as Zoe few days later, which is not bad at all

| She is so cute in both pictures!!! Just wondering if anyone who has had to shave their pups - does their hair grow out the same? I mean does shaving them sometimes make their hair grow in thicker or faster, healthier or no change? Hope it's OK to ask another question on someone elses thread. If not, sorry, I'm a newbie! |

| Oh Gosh, the before & after...they're both so cute! I've heard & had experience that their hair grows out lighter. Mimi was shaved twice, her hair grew out lighter every time & grows fast. I never shaved Princess & her hair is so dark & slow growing. I think hair texture & the speed of growth depends on the dog.

| Your little girl is cute either way. I work part time for a groomer and trust me it won't take long for her hair to grow back. And clothing is cute on them but also restricts hair growth and in most cases causes matts to set in. Just enjoy her. |

| She's really cute! You'll get used to seeing her in the short hair very soon. When Sandy had his baby hair cut, he looked so funny and I was really upset. I blamed my bf because he's the one who's telling the groomer (who is also Sandy's breeder) how we want her to cut the hair since I don't speak the language here. |

| Ooooh, she looks cute! I love the long hair, but keep my 2 kind of a medium length. They both LOVE to roll and create mats.

| I'm not a fan of the long hair for me personally, she is too playful and it gets matted and tangled easily when she plays with her brother (beagle) and other pup friends of her, But I am going to grow it out an inch or two but until then she goes nekkid inside and wears a parka outside lol |
