Pretty darn cute!:) Kacee will sleep between the pillows sometimes and sometimes on them. She's regularly a cuddler, though. I can still remember the first night Muffin slept in the bed. I woke up the next morning and she was wrapped around the top of my head and it had not even caused me to wake up.:D |
Yay!!! Tia will not be leaving your bed you know :D I have a feeling she will be letting hubby know her plans to slumber there every night ;);) |
When I got Lucy, she was sleeping with me.. I got Teddy.. 2 in the bed... After that,When I decided to kept Mika, My BF Told me : NO WAY!!! no more dogs in the bed they take all the space! lol My dog sleep in their own bedroom.5 in a bed would be to much... But sometime We have a "sleep over" in the Bedroom!! lol Also, when my females are close to giving birth, they sleep with me in the bed. |
I convince hubby to let Gypsy sleep in bed with us before we got her. He was so cute, even in his sleep, he will feel around before he turns over to make sure no one is in the way. Now we have 3 dogs in bed with us. If we get another one, they will sleep there too. |
Just thought I would post the update on our sleepover. Well the excitement soon wore off after I couldn't sleep in fear of squashing her. As it happens she is just as much a fidget as me lol. So its back to sleeping BESIDE my bed instead of in it. Thats her not me.lol:D |
I have had ZZ 5 years and she used to not sleep in bed with me. I met my now boyfriend 2 years ago and he said "You don't let your own baby sleep with you?" Since then she is nestled right between us =) It changes everything, you are going to love it! |
I love snuggling with mine every night... |

Just a note: Sitting in a recliner in my house elicits a migratory response in my pets... so be forwarned! Attachment 307459 Sorry, I am an ugly sleeper so I blurred myself out!:D |

I laughed my head off at the cat. (he/she??) is stretched out to the max !! My cats are ALWAYS doing that and I have...quite a few cats and they all enjoy MY bed. When they all have their own. |
One would think you would come back and let us know how the big night went.:D |

Dh does not want a dog in the bed with him, but on the nights he falls asleep in his chair, i 'forget" to wake him up and Bonnie sneaks a little mama time in bed. She starts out under the bed, til I turn off the TV. Then she gets in her bed that is beside mine (with her heated up beanbag, all cozy). As soon as the alarm goes off, she is up in the bed with me and we hit the snooze button and snuggle. |

I was wondering how old your puppy is? How did you get him to sleep in your bed without there being any "accidents" |
Missy started sleeping with me when she first came home at 7.5 weeks of age and only weighed 1 lb 2 ozs. She curled up right in front of my face and stayed put the first night we tried, so I've let her do it ever since. I followed the same routine with Dora whom came home at almost 11 weeks of age and weighed 2 lbs. Both girls have always slept soundly through the night, they don't even wake up for a pee break. I have pushed my bed up against the wall and I filled the cracks between the wall and headboard with rolled up blankets. Then I put a big pillow below them to keep them from wandering to the foot of the bed. Works great for us. We totally enjoy it, and DH is jealous that the yorkie girls aren't on his side of the bed so that he can cuddle them :p |

Hello & Welcome to YorkieTalk. I usually start puppies sleeping in bed with us @ 8 wks old. I put them between the pillows and they will wake you up to go potty, they don't like to "go" where they sleep. If their forever family wants them bedtrained, I do it. Now, that means they are in the Queen size bed (surrounded by a line of extra pillows down on the floor) with the 2 of us, their momma (who will NOT allow them to wander away) and 3 other yorkies....on 400 ct sheets with a down comforter & fleece duvet! Maggie is under by her daddy, Jack is on top, Rocky is under me & Sunnie is under or on top of my pillow. It helps if you're a light sleeper when they are that young & it really is not as much fun as it sounds. |
