So not the cutest comment, but the funniest thing I just figured out! I'm using my laptop and have Rambo on my lap where he loves to be. I have always noticed he loves looking at my screen and watches it for long periods of time. Well as I was moving my mouse his little head moves. It's like he is staking my mouse icon.... it is too cute! sorry about this off the wall post but it has me astounded! |

Did you say they were Cat Terriers? |
Maybe the funniest comment was when we took our first Yorkie to San Francisco on a business trip. When I took him for an urban hike, the doorman opened the door for us and asked me, "...And how is the Little Master, today Sir?" I had to crack up, being treated like a rich man walking his pampered pet...:D The Pipster and I had a good walking tour of the city that day. He made it most of the way of Lombard St before I had to pick him up. We also toured the wharfs. Lucky for me he only weighed in at 5 lbs and loved to hop rides on my forearm. When the right got tired I'd switch to the left, he was ambidextrous! |
I was walking Brody and two women were walking by and I heard one say "oh look a toto dog" LMAO! :p |
I NEVER get offended by the comments that people make about rat dogs, I always think they're funny. my best friend's family (they are like my adopted family :)) refer to Tucker as "the dustmop." and when I still lived in that town, I was walking him past their house and "Dad" was out washing his car, and he said "Megan! Bring Dustmop over here, I have a spot on my car!" It made me laugh for quite a while! :) |

That's to funny!! I had someone say that once about my Nicky, I just smiled and said, Yea kinda, Toto was a Scotty this dog is a Yorkie, then the younger lady said, yea so whats the difference, I then went AH the Breed is different DUH.. I did say that but said, Well one is a SCOTTY the other is a Yorkie, so BIG difference... Quote:

I have never really had funny comments said about my baby's... They almost always tick me off when someone says something about them... I've had... OH Look a ratdog, dust mop, Some lady thinking Nicky was the toto dog, when I corrected her she thought that all dogs were the same breed, well she acted as if they were UGHNESS... The one that ticked me off the most was... "ALL little dogs need to be taken out and shot, they are useless and ugly!!" |
I'm on a kickball team and it's really laid back and you can drink as long as it's not on the field, so I'll bring Bandit sometimes. When he was a puppy, he was going through the hair-change and Vinny asked if I highlighted his hair. I said yea (joking around of course) and Vinny was like wow, that's amazing, it must take so long, i can't believe he lets you do that to him. Everyone started cracking up:) |
When I carry Armani in her bag she always has her head rested on her front paws and enjoys the view - when she moves her head, on more than one occasion people have commented "I thought that was a doll - I did not know she was real until she moved". Always make me laugh. |

So I thought I would share it: "Some folks claim that the character Toto in L.Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was a Yorkie. According to Frank, Toto was 'a little black dog, with long silky hair and small black eyes that twinkled merrily on either side of his funny, wee nose.' This description, you have to admit, can apply to several breeds of dogs. But the Wizard of Oz's original illustrator, W.W.Denslow, owned a Yorkie and very well may have used his dog as a model for the illustrations in the book. So Toto may or may not be a Yorkie. But he definitely wasn't a Cairn Terrier, which is the type of dog cast in the 1939 movie version." |
