Rosie showed me just how smart these little guys can be a couple of weeks ago when her ball rolled behind the t.v cabinet, a place thats strictly off limits because of the wires. My mom has a long handle grabber so she doesn't have to try to pick up things from the floor, Rosie went over to it and started pawing at it and looking at the cabinet. Two of my previous girls, mother and daughter were smart too. Myshkha loved carrotts, and even learnt when we spelt it out, even cottoned on when started calling them those orange things. Chloe her daughter would spin when she wanted something, I would go throgh a list of things and when we got to the right one she'd spin around, it was so cute. |

I feel like Max understands me all the time. Besides knowing the obvious things like car ride, toy, chewy, he knows when my daughter calls after school that she's ready to be picked up, he goes crazy if I don't get up right away and get in the car. He knows what that phone call means each day. When he tries to wake me up a little early I say, "Mama's not ready yet, go lay down"....he leaves me alone and goes to lay down in his spot. Sometimes I let my daughter sleep in but when I'm ready to wake her up..I say "Go get Lexi, go wake her up"...he takes off up the stairs and jumps on her bed. I swear..they are so much smarter than we think. Maybe they think we're dumb :D |
Yes, I talk to Winston constantly and sometimes he even answers me, LOL. Smart, yes. He too knows what we're talking about when we spell something...his little mind is going a mile a minute. And some of the looks he gives me...questioning, curious, mad, sad and the best of all happy!!! |
Oh I always feel like im talkin to a toddler. Especially when they 'talk back'. When they don't want to do something, like if i say 'no you can't have this' they start whining, kinda like talking back lol |
I talk to my 3 furbabies all the time and they just look at me like they know exactly what I am saying. They are a little over 1 yr. old and very smart. I will ask if they want a treat and they go to the cabinet waiting on me. They go crazy when you go bye-bye. When Rosco is ready for bed, he won't get in the bed til we do. He gets impatient and starts barking as if to say Hurry up! |
