Love them all, but prefer medium to long. |
I like the long coat. Rio's almost 11 months and I've never cut her hair, just trim the paws and ears. But as everyone has said, it's a lot of work. I brush her out every day and sometimes on the weekend, she gets brushed twice - morning and evening. I also have to re-do the top knot about every other day. Her long beard drags in her food and water, so I have to wipe her face with a damp washcloth every night. Oh the things we do for our furbabies' beauty! |
2 Attachment(s) I Like it long !!! I have 2 cuties and they both have long hair,Beatrice is a little more than 2 years old now and hers hits the floor and flips up...adorable ! Sebastien is 14 months old and his is about an inch from the floor, his is alot more work to look after,so I keep him in oil when he's not in the ring. |
I used to like the short coat until I found YT and saw all the gorgeous babies in full coat! That's when i stopped cutting. Uni's hair is growing out now. She's got a nub for a topknot, but she's still cute! Her hair is very thin and silky and doesn't mat very much. To tell the truth, it's not that much more work than the short. i think less even, b/c I don't have to constantly trim her. Just a few brushing a day, which is what I was doing before anyway and a weekly bath.. Easy! |
we've never really had a long coat so I would really like to try and grow it out to see what it looks like. In the summer time Iike the short, short cut. It just looks cooler for them and we boat so it is a lot easier to deal with. |
For my ragamuffins I prefer a short coat. They like to wrestle tomuch for a long coat. |
I like both, but my poor furbabies are starting to be groomed by me:eek: It is a good thing they love me:) |
I do like the long coat, but Molly gets terrible matts if i let hers get too long, so i keep it short. Her fur is baby soft and very pretty when it is short. |
Both are cute. Long coat for us. I love to watch Lacey prance while her hair flows. |
