I think she'll be OK, but you won't feel better until the vet tells you. My daughter has a friend who just spent big $$$ on braces for her dog ... not just regular ol' braces either, but the clear ones . So I know there are doggy orthodontists out there if you really want to go that route. Right now, she'll look like a perpetual kid! When she grins, she'll be missing a tooth, just like a 5-year-old skinkid! It's kind of endearing, I think ... I don't think you'll want to get into bridgework. |

Wow, I just looked in Apple's mouth, and the little tooth, right beside the tooth that is not there sure looks tiny, like a baby tooth..it's the botton center two front teeth I'm talking about...I'm just about to wonder if that is a baby tooth in there, and the other one that came out was a baby tooth...Oh my gosh, wouldn't that just be the best!!!! The vet didn't do x-rays, or anything...Maybe she missed it! |

few years ago I took Hendrix to get his teeth cleaned and he needed 7 pulled! I was a wreck and I was so sad that he wouldnt have all of his teeth. Of course he needed the entire bottom row removed..... all the ones between his two canine teeth. I was really concerned about it, but my vet said that they really don't even use those teeth.... So I am sure that your little girl doesn't even notice and she won't miss the tooth. PS- make sure you brush her teeth so you don't go through what me and Hendrix went through :) |
Good news, I think (?)...I didn't actually see the vet, as when the vet tech looked in Apple's mouth, she seemed to think it was a baby tooth that had come out, and that the one beside it was also a baby tooth, just as I thought...I decided to leave, and not have to pay a office visit, and now I'm all paranoid (so what's new lol) that I probably should have had the vet look at her...But, I think it's all good, and I should be seeing a new tooth coming in soon...And wow, she's 15 months old!!!! |
Glad to see it was nothing. That is so crazy that she still has them! |
