Please sign this petition to get this Dog Abuser off the streets! I got this petition forwarded to me. A 21 yr old guy beat up a 12 lb Pomeranian and it was all caught on an elevator camera. I did see the whole video and I can't tell you all the things I was saying I cant believe this guy!!! You can just see by the say that poor dog is cowered the elevator it doesn't feel safe....poor baby.:( |
OMG! OMG! OMG! I could only watch the first couple of kicks to the dog and my stomache started turning. I can't help but to cry. I can't believe the dog is even still alive after being kicked so hard and repeatedly. What a sick man. I hope he rots in hell. :mad: |

WHY? Why does there need to be a petition? A petition for what? They have the evidence. I just don't get it. What is a petition going to do? Did I miss something somewhere? Are you all sure that what you are signing is for real? I have never heard of signing a petition to get someone off the streets for breaking the law. That is up to prosecutors. Ok, someone what did I miss here? |
Thats horrible. How can someone be so cruel. I'm sure he probably got some mimumum sentence if anything for that. Disgusting. I couldn't even finish watching it. |

Apparently he was arrested and then released on a very low $$$ bail. That is why everyone is in an uproar (besides the obvious cruelty to an animal). Here is a quote I copied and pasted to explain the video for those who can't watch it (trust me, I wish that I hadn't). "Chris Grant, 21, a Manhattan man caught on video repeatedly attacking a tiny dog was arrested by cops who were horrified by the cruelty they saw on surveillance cameras. He is seen in the footage dragging a friend's 12-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, named Chuvi-Duvi, into the Grant Houses elevator. He slams the dog with his foot twice, then entices the docile animal to climb up on his leg. He rubs him behind the ear and then viciously kicks him again. The same depraved sceneplays out when Grant gets on the elevator to return to his apartment after taking the dog to a nearby deli. Fortunately, Chuvi-Duvi didn't suffer any broken bones in the attack - which cops from the Viper unit watched from a remote location before arresting Grant two days later. "I'm not trusting nobody with my dog," said the pup's owner, Melvin Rodriguez, 22, who picked the pooch up from the ASPCA last night. Grant can be seen calling the dog, a 10-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua named Chuvi-Duvi, to jump on his leg, only to then repeatedly kick the animal. Grant has been charged with torturing and injuring an animal and resisiting arrest. Chuvi-Duvi is recovering at Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital on the Upper East Side." |
