Call me "certified":D I am right there with all of you!!! Please let me know when the group therapy begins....oh, I think it already has:D:D |
My 1 year old Sebastian is most definitely my baby, so we must all be crazy. |
Nibbler Please put my name down on the 'therapy' list. I've read all the posts and understand completely. My Nibbler is my baby and always will be I talk to him constantly, sing to him, basically do much the same I did for both my children when they were babies. If I'm in the bathroom and he hasn't managed to get in and he starts scratching at the door or whining I say, It's ok darling, mummy won't be long! If we have visitors to the house I am extremely protective, Nibbler loves to say hello, unfortunately not everyone likes this and if they push him away or push him off their laps I have to bite my tongue! They wouldn't do that to my other 'children' so what gives them the right to do it to my doddy dodd dodd!!! If we can't take my little boy with us, we don't go, simple as and he is never left alone, not even for 5 minutes, you wouldn't go out and leave your other baby alone, not for a minute, so why do it to your furbaby, I certainly don't. I'm sure people think I'm mad but so what, they don't know love till they've had a Yorkie and in my opinion they are missing out - bring on the straight jacket, I'll wear it proudly!!!! :) :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
Thank you, I know I joined a while go. But, I was reading all the wonderful posts. I decided to join in with all of you. |
I'm glad i'm not alone!!:D |
Sign me up for therapy too, glad to know I'm not the only one either! I tell everybody that Fancy is my 5th kid! I treat her just like one of the kids, she wear clothes, gets her hair fixed, teeth brushed every morning and she goes everywhere and I do mean everywhere with us. (in her KB bag) Rest assure you are not alone! ;) |
I've posted in this thread before, but I just stepped back and realized... If we need therapy... we are saying our "condition" requires "fixin"... Tell me it's not true!!! LOL :p |

Ok, you all are really going to think I'm nuts because I even go beyond crazy! I seriously think that my dogs communicate back to me. Finnigan is so vocal that I can tell his noises apart and know what he's "saying." How crazy is this?? |

Too funny!! I SO do this too. My husband is right there along with me also :D. To me, Harley is my first baby....always will be. I rock her, snuggle her, brush her hair constantly and always talk to her like she knows exactly what I'm saying. LOL. I think its completely normal;) After every bath, I actually bundle her up in the towel and walk around for about 5 minutes patting her on the butt....seriously?? But I love it, and I know she does too....we've done it ever since she was 8 weeks and I think she expects it now. There's nothing like a sweet yorkie baby:) |
Count me in for therapy. My babies are six yrs old and sometimes I worry about how many years I will have left with them. I don't like the word dog either...somehow these babies are so different from the 'dogs' I have had in the past. Like someone else said, they know everything I am saying and even what I am thinking. My husband kidded me (not in a nice way) about getting them a stroller but now you should see how proud he is to push them in the stroller. lol Sometimes I even wonder what life would have been like without them and I can't even imagine it. They are the world to me. |
