I don't understand some people!! I just don't understand how someone can have a dog already, add another one and get rid of the first one?:confused: What the heck. I know things might not work out, but wouldn't you give back or rehome the new one? I mean think about how that first dog would feel. They bring a new dog home and that one goes out the door? I just found this ad and it is just sick. I don't think I could give Lola away that easily. I love Zach already so much but hell she was here first right? Yorkie/Shihtsu for Sale! That really is pathetic! I'm with you...............there's no way I could ever give up my "first born." |
wow I am with u on that one! I woudl be so embarrassed:confused: that I willhave to do taht! Obviously that person does not know how to parent. Chances are that they will constantly be doing that! Ugh! |
I think it is really selfish of someone to do that!! And personally they should have a hamster instead of a dog. Sometimes even if the dogs don't get along, well I guess that is tough luck and you wait it out, you don't get rid of it maybe it likes being an only pet. |
Happens all of the time. They should not have anything live at all...not even a hamster. Build A Bear is where they need to go. :( |
Stupid people, Someone like that really doesn't care for their animals, why bother to have any!? Really upsetting. |
We got Maggie when Buster was about 10 months and after more than a year they are still not best friends but neither one of them are going anywhere. Giving one of them away or selling one of them is NOT an option. |
Disgaurd him like old shoes, thats just cruel... he is just soo stinking cute too! |

I couldn't even read the story but I do know that these people don't deserve to have any animals. That baby is probably better off without them. |
Ive seen it happen qutie a few times on here. I think it is terrible |

Build a bear, I didn't think of that. Good idea!! He sure is a cutie, he looks just like a happy little baby, and 4 yrs old? Didn't they grow attached to him at aLL to just dump him? :( |
I dont understand people either. I was looking at my local craigslist yesterday and came across someone re-homing their cat. The cat is 9 years old and needs to find a new home because the people recently got a couple dogs and the dogs wont stop barking at the cat! They stated that they have had the cat since it was 6 weeks old! And, just like that find it a home because your new dog wont stop barking at it.... There is something wrong with people.... |
That is so sad! :( I don't understand how anyone could do that either. The worst part is that they are rehoming him because they cannot afford to keep him, not because the new dog doesn't get along with him. Well.. if you couldn't afford your first dog why did you get another!? |
That is so sad! But unfortunately not very rare. Diva is 4 years old and I cannot even think about what life would be like without her. There's no way in H-ll, I would ever let her go. Sadly many, many people treat animals like they are disposable. They love them when they are new, but when ever something new comes along, they don't have time for them anymore. Craigslist, on a daily basis, has pets that are over 3 years old that are being "rehomed" for crazy, selfish reasons. As a teacher for 16 years, I can also tell you that many people really do treat their kids the same way. They love them as a newborn, but as soon as the newness wears off, they barely take care of them. I see examples of this every day. It's a sad world for lots of kids and pets. |
trerrible sad, i have my old man at 12 and my little girl at 3 and my little boy at 1, i wud never ever think off parting with any off them, well maybe he will find a better home and be spoilt rotten.:animal-pa |
Sounds to me like there is more to the story. |
I DONT GET IT!? I read the ad and it just seems so blunt and cold. The reason is because I can no longer afford him because we got another dog... OMG what a joke! Gen |

I guess the "newness" of the first dog has worn off and the new puppy is just so cute and shiny... my guess , once his newness wears off he too will be out to make room for yet another pet they can't afford ....I really don't understand some people. :( |
That is so sad!! Some people! |

thats so horrible....its taking a lot of restraint not to email and tell this person how pathetic they really are! |
They shouldn't add another furbaby if they can't take care of the 1st one. Some people only likes puppies because they are tiny and so called "puppies are cuter than dogs", once they grow up, they wouldn't want to keep them... I'm so sick of this kind of people, they don't deserved to have any furbabies!! |
Oh my God I just can't get over it...how I wish I could call the person and scold her at her face! :( |
Ugh, I've seen those ads before.... They should be ashamed to be so cruel. Any animal they have would be better off without them, honestly they don't deserve to have animals.... |
