What does your yorkie smell like? I might sound a little wacky...but how is that different than any other day :p? Anyway...my boys always smell so delicious, but it's so odd...they actually *change* smells at times, and smell like something totally random all of a sudden. Like this weekend --> Marcel all of a sudden smelled like Nag Champa incense for the first time in his life EVER (I was all huh?) and Wylie smelled like Fruity Pebbles Cereal (do they even still make that cereal???). And once, about a year ago, Marcel smelled like CUMIN for a week...I mean, what the heck? Cumin??? So, what do your yorkies smell like...any weird smells like this, lol :D? |
Buddy always smells fresh. He get's bathed every two weeks and bath day he still smells yummy. I remember once his feet smelling like pop corn. I don't know why but they did. |
Sophie smells simply amazing! Hard to describe though. It's the fresh fragrance of her all natural shampoo & conditioner I use (Yorkie Shine & Yorkie Splash) and it lasts from bath to bath. |
Ann....I am laughing my butt off!!!! :p I love ya! I cannot think of anything that my guys smell like...other than their shampoo. Even though I am laughing, you know (because I told you my own wacky thoughts before) that I am one that actually likes my dogs' stinky breath. I can't stand other dog's breath...just my own fur kids. Now who's the crazy one?! ;) Ok, I am off to sniff my guys to see what they smell like. :D Maybe I will luck out and one of them will smell like chocolate chip cookies since I have been craving them lately and I am dieting. LOL!! Hugs to ya! Tam |
Daisy smells like baby powder for about 3 days after her bath, then she gradually switches over to a smell we refer to as 'dog!' We say "Daisy, you smell like dog!" Her coat seems to get oily rather quickly, so maybe that is why we aren't fortunate enough to have a really surprising or good smell! I have used those freshening cloths (that look like baby wipes) which will postpone a bath for a day or two. They give her that spiky, fluffy puppy coat look which is really cute! |
LOL....Ann....fruity pebbles, yes believe it or not, they still make them and the incense....LOL...? Maybe it's something coming through the skin that they are eating? Mine usually smell like the shampoo/conditioner I use, Iv San Bernard and it's kind of a fruity, clean fresh scent. At times they smell like my every day perfume, Tresor - that's usually because I've spent much of the day holding them :) Apparently whatever their butts smell like, must be good, as often as they seem to sniff each other there!:D |
Oooo, so many delicious smells :p! Popcorn, powder, shampoo! And you all know Fritos will pop in here. And oh yes, Tammy, you know I love the good 'ol dog breath and 3-star stinky ears -- oh how I LOVE a stinky ear...it's cute stinky! :p Edited to add: and TRESOR :D! OOOOoo! |

Maybe Bud's feet smelled like Frito's instead of popcorn. It's so bitter cold in my office I can't think straight! |
LOL! My little Cordy smells like his shampoo for about 2 days, then he smells like... gosh....I dunno, but he still smells good... I bury my nose in his little neck and just breathe and breathe. He's my little lovey, and even though he needs a bath every few days, he always smells yummy! LOL! |
Oh this is too funny! I never noticed any weird smells. Tomorrow is bath day and right now they smell like "dog"! LOL |
