Hahaha....this is TOO funny ~ My Harley always smells SO good. My husband and I swear she smells like a human baby. You know when you kiss a baby on the head or put your nose on the back on their necks? and its that really sweet baby smell? Well, honest to God, that's what Harley smells like. Even when she runs and plays, she never has that "DOG" smell. I love it...I always kiss the top of her head, neck and belly. She really is my babygirl :) :p |

This thread is so funny! After I got Moka, and researched that they are "odor free" I find myself just picking her up and burrying my face in her and it is so true. They just don't "smell" I LOVE it. However, I am sad to report, that Mylee, my baby, smells like poop! Most of the time. I have caught her eating it so that explains the breath, and she stresses herself out so bad when she has to be in her crate that she poops in there and doesn't even mind romping in it there.:confused: She is a work in progress. One day, she will be a diva! |
Fiona can go from smelling really good, to really bad! When she goes outside, she reeks of outside, then if she eats her food, she will smell like her food! I must give her a bath this week! Then she will smell like mink sheen! wooo hooo!!!!!!! |
Zada and Razael have never had any bad odor, but sometimes they smell as fresh as a woodsy area after a rain. Don't know why. They get a bath twice a month in the winter, and still don't seem to need it. Then there is Azrael.........wew..........was Ms. Frito Feet herself, till I started using Dr. Bronner's liquid soap and the distilled apple cider vinegar/water as a final rinse. I haven't even smelled any Frito's on her feet either, even after a whole week. |
Lol...great thread. Now honestly. How many of you after reading this thread buried your nose in the scruff of your Yorkie's neck and inhaled deeply? I know I did lol. Sometimes her feet smell like Fridos. Her hair doesn't normally have a smell except for after she returns from the groomer. Then she smells like cologne, which is nice. Her breath, though...EWWW. When she yawns...run! lol. |

depends on what candy has rolled in!!! mostly baby powder smell, its the scent on her grooming spray |
Tuffy smells wonderful until he opens his mouth but I know it's just because he's ready to lose another puppy tooth or two. I'll be glad when he's past this stage but sad in a way too. |
One of my neighbors told me mine smelled like potpourri. He was sitting on the sidewalk as we were walking by and he picked up Maggie and started laughing. He had his wife come smell her as well. I also use Nag Champ, maybe that was what he was smelling. I think they smell like mink sheen but as long as they smell good. |
Well, I'm a guy remembering back when I was in my 20's, but Reesie smells like a girl I dated then. I used to bury my face in her hair and just gently breath! Nice and clean, a little bit of perfume, just nice. Then, other times Reesie will smell like dirty socks but that goes away after a day even without a bath. Wish I was in my 20's again... |
Funny this is mentioned. A couple weeks ago we got a new puppy and I swear he smells like the Hershey's Bear I had as a small child. I even told my husband, "Here, smell him, he smells like chocolate!" LOL! |
Oh my Fletcher gets stinky ear... what a smell ooohhhh wweee!!! Dexter's breath always smells like he ate a whole trash can of rotten food, I have no idea why but it does. Its all far from cute! LOL Especially when they go eat and then jump up on me and burp in my face! Which they do, do! I love when they go out in the cold and snow and they come in and want to be cuddled, they smell like fresh cold air! |
