| ![]() I found a fun way to give your Yorkie, Morkie treats in a slow release manner while they teeth. All i did was buy a cheap small cotton glove - the ones that you can insert into larger mitts. Then I fill his dog food ( a few pellets ) or some real chicken or lean pork into one of the five fingers. You can give 2 or 3 treats in stuffed into the individual fingers. Now roll up the wrist band into a ball with the fingers sticking out.. it will look like a mini cow's udder. It will take the dog at least half an hour per finger to get at the treats. The cotton allows for the treat to come out but slowly. My dog is 6 months old now and is unable to rip the cotton liner glove. So i just keep puttingn treats on the fingers, and wash the other glove every second day and alternate. Even when he is done getting at the treats, the glove smells like treats and he will come back to it later in the day for the flavour. It's the best $1.99 i have ever spent... and he fetches and plays with it when bored..saving me on replacing toys! Enjoy |
