Cheap yorkie? Priceless
 

My 1st post but must tell my story. 6mon ago Kia, my 15y/o yorkie, passed. 3mon ago I lost my best friend & adopted mom. Depressed isn't even close & tight economy. Every day lay in bed & look at adds. 2days ago a cheap yorkie & couldn't get him out of my head. Needless to say I bought him. All I could think was, u get what u pay 4. He is thin, thin hair, frightened & stunk. What am I doing? As I head hm with him & botched looking papers. Just held him & loved him, I hadn't smiled in months, gave him time. Day 3, comfortable enough 4 a bath. He did so gd BUT that's when I realized his thin coat was due to tangles being cut out. Almost shaved in spots. Well..dried him & brushed him & sat him on the bed to look at him. Charlie took off juming at me & his toys lol then ran in circles playing! Cutesy thing I've ever seen! Then I laid on bed, Charlie curled up in my arm & slept, after lots of kisses. I realized then..I needed Charlie & he needed me.
I had read so many negative post about ACA only has mutts & AKC only way to go. If u want a show dog get 1! if u want a pet 2 love, don't let reg or price keep u from checking them out!
Pride & strangers opinions almost cost my precious Charlie. I now have a 2lb shadow.

Ok I don't know if I am just sensative but that brought tears to my eyes. And they are good tears. I am so happy for you and your furbaby.

Congradulations on your new addition and I am very happy he has brought some happiness back into your life!! I dont have a show dog nor do I have papers, I will tell you when I got my dog I was so depressed and sick and she brought me so much happiness, although I will say if ((( WHEN))) I get another puppy I will look for a very good breeder probally one from YT, because sometimes ( perhaps not in your case) you do get what you pay for, I worry every day because I dont know anything about my puppies parents, she came from a not so good breeder, I am blessed she is healthy but my preference would be to know she came from a trusted breeder who has done blood tests , I also would have LOVED the benefit of being able to call the breeder when little things went wrong.. But again I am very very happy for you that you have brought back a little sunshine in your life and a smile to your face.. Congrats!!;)

I'm sorry you lost your baby, but i am glad you gave another one a chance that may not have had a chance without you. It seems like he will have a good home and people to love him. Can't wait to see pics. =]

I too teared up reading this! Congratulations on your new baby... I too brought my Basil home a couple months after my mother passed away and I must say... I would have never made it through the grief without her. Merry Christmas and God bless you and Charlie!

I must say I never really imagined any1 reading this but am so grateful to all. Christmas eve we brought home Ahleigh May. Wanted Charlie to have playmate. I was shocked at the difference in them, re: hms they came from. She came in like she owned us. Took a bit but they are wonderful! Charlie is a different dog. I laugh till I hurt & they play to exhaustion. Hubby said 3am playtime gonna stop or playpen time. Lol of course they sleep with us. Got elec blanket..don't want them cold. Charlie sleeps between my knees ontop of quilt & Ahleigh on my shoulder & pillow or hubby's head. I don't have computer, just iPhone, so soon as I figure how to move pics Ill post them. Thank u for prayers & caring. There are no strangers here, only friends I hadn't met. Thanks again for making our lonely world friendlier.:mobile_ph:2hearts2:

Awww, thanks for sharing your wonderful story. I believe in fate regardless of how you come to your daily decisions, things happen for a reason, and what happens is meant to be in some way or another. Charlie is so lucky to have you, and you him!!!!
