| my dog baby is "the other woman"! So when Honey Bear joined our family, my husband was not too thrilled about a 1.5 lb puppy....he is more of a pit bull kind of guy. Well, one can't help who you fall in love with. She was supposed to be my dog and now she has fallen in love with my husband and he spoils her rotten! My husband says people get big dogs to protect them and he protects our dog! She gets so jealous if my husband and I kiss or hug...she has to get in the middle of us! She will lick him to death and sometimes gets so excited when he comes home that she pees! If we try to have "mom and dad time", she will poop outside our door. So we have to put her in the yard and make it quick! LOL! I think it is so adorable a 4.5 lb yorkie is the boss of a 210 lb, body building, airborne infantry soldier! We love her so much!!

| I am sorry to laugh but it sounds like your little dog has your husband wrapped around her paw. This post made me smile this morning, I love hearing happy Yorkie stories. Good luck.

| Yes, little girls are good at working their daddies! I have one of those, too! But I still control the food! There is a lot of power in that!

| I hear you on this one I'm a male who a few years ago in my younger days owned three Dobermans at one time. Now that I'm older and in a condo we bought a Yorkie that has completely dominated my life in a good way and is so spoiled. She is a great companion to me. We named her Lola because whatever Lola wants Lola gets like the song. |

| what a sweet heartwarming thread... I have found that there is something wonderful about a man who doesn't need anything to define him. It shows a grater confidence, true maculinity isn't measured by the size of your dog... ok I will stop there. But really, I think it is really sweet to see a man who loves his yorkie.

| Oh I just love this. As I'm sitting here on the couch my 6'4" 270 lb hubby is sitting at the dining room table performing open heart surgery on Soph's favorite toy. It's got one of those electronic voice boxes in it and a wire came loose and the battery died. I figured the toy was terminal but no, he dug the soldering iron out to fix the loose wire and I'm under orders to get replacement batteries ASAP. And he says I spoil her |
