New Here Hello to all! My name is Kim and I'm new here. Well, I joined a week ago or so and I've just been reading and learning. Seems you all have a lot of info to contribute and that's great. I just bought my first yorkies last weekend. Gracie is 9 mos. old, a beautiful classic blue steele and tan and her half sister, Goldie, is a 13 month old golden yorkie. They are small girls, both under 3 pounds, but I think Gracie will get a little bigger. It didn't take me 5 mins. to fall in love with the both of them. I have already learned their personalities, Gracie is adventurous and never gets done playing. Goldie is playful at times but is more shy and reserved. We're in the process of potty training, but I have to say I think we are doing fairly well with it. For only 5 days at it and they are going to the puppy pad about 60% of the time. So, nice to join your community and learn all I can so that I can give the best care to my new baby girls!!

Welcome! I am also a new member, just have my Yorkie for 3 weeks now. From the moment we got her she stole my heart!! She is very playful, fun to watch and sometimes just a silly little puppy. We are also training her on the pads and she does the pee pee ok, poop, not so well. But, she is only 13 weeks so I'm sure that I have a way to go with the task! Hope you enjoy your babies!

It really is good on here, so much brilliant advice from those who have had yorkies for many years. Everybody seems to get on so well, and I'm only argumentative when I am hypo, as I'm diabetic. So don't anyone take offence to anything I say because it just means my blood sugar is low .
