Yes, they *large snakes*are breeding like wild in Florida. I saw where a snake hunter caught 35 snakes not long ago in Fl.. Gives me the creeps. |
I think they have an open hunting season on snakes in the Everglades. |
I've seen on animal cops in Florida where aligators come to people's home's , back yards , and huge snakes as well , very dangerous to small children and pets alike > I would never leave a little dog left unattended for a moment even if I think it is safe . Because these things happen all the time . How devastating and tragic . I would be a mess if I witnessed my beloved pet being swallowed by a enormous snake like that. It would give me nightmares , and definately send me into therapy . I just could not handle it. How sad. :( |
wow that is sad.... but things like this do happen that's why you have to watch your dog every single time you let it out to potty.... my brother told me about a friend of his... who had owned a snake not sure what kind... and the woman who owned it used to let it sleep with her in her bed.... one day she noticed that the snake had'nt eatin in about a week... so she took the snake to the vet's office and told him he was'nt eatin and about his sleeping habits.. the vet told the woman to get rid of the snake ASAP... the snake was starving itself and getting ready to eat her while they slept in the bed together... the woman got rid of it .... isn't that crazy.... and scary..... |
Irresponsible owners get Burmese Pythons (that can grow up to 16 feet) and once they get too big they release them into the wild. It's a huge problem in Florida right now. They're just looking for food especially because they had been fed consistently in captivity. Don't blame the snake, blame irresponsible pet owners. I just don't ever let my dogs outside unattended even if it may be safe. Suffocation normally isn't what actually kills, it's actually heart failure from the stoppage of blood flow. Sounds horrible, but it isn't the snakes fault. As a little dog owner AND a big constrictor owner, I must say they need to ban just anyone from owning big snakes! |
