Roxy's a SHOPLIFTER!!! OH NOOOO!!! Couple days ago I picked Roxy up from day care. It was dark out. Got her fastened in her seat, started the car & noticed she had her head down kinda funny & barely moving. Thought she was just tired out. When we got to the stop light, I noticed something kinda round in her car seat. I turned the light on & there was a bone... shaped like a very imperfect ball. The day care has baskets of that kind of stuff down low & stacked up in cubicles. Without my seeing it, she grabbed that bone out of one of the baskets. After I picked it up & looked at it, she grabbed it from me & protected it the whole rest of the evening. It is a perfect size for her mouth with nothing protruding out & easy for her to hide if she keeps her head down. I don't even give her bones, but she was lovin' it. She goes around looking for it now. I couldn't believe what she had done. I'm living with a CRIMINAL!!! :2omg: She's likely to have to sign a confession when she goes next time. :animal-pa:animal-pa It cracked me up & I probably will have to tell on her. :D |
Ohhh my god!!! I am laughing sooo hard at this!! I bet it was priceless!! |
That is TOO funny! I'm impressed! LOL |
They know they are not meant to take things don't they. I work in a vehicle repair shop and when I take my boy out for a walk if there is a farmers 4WD vehicle parked up he heads for the mudflaps and bites of the yukky mud and makes a run for my office so he can chew on his treasure and he knows I don't like him getting it so he tries to hide in his little house |
:lol tearsThat was great!! I agree though I would have to spill the beans... she will forgive you and they will laugh!! My mother use to be just mortified when my dad would bring their pom to my house to get her nails done, cause without fail every time she came home she was toting a new chew stick that was my dog's but I had more so I let her "claim" it. We all love our criminals!! |
Oh yes, that bone is definitely priceless! When she does have it, she keeps a sharp eye on me to make sure I don't get it from her. She was so very quiet during the whole rip off. She had to have know it was wrong to take it. I figure if I pay for it, she may not have to do any jail time. lol I'll recommend they install secuity cameras at floor level. lol! Maybe I'll take paper & an inkpad next time for her confession. : ) Or just write up the confession & paw print it & turn it in with her when I drop her off. Ha! |
That is such a cute story. :) |

I totally get what Roxy did...One dark night, while walking apple to the end of the block for her last pee pee of the day, she suddenly picked up the pace and headed straight for the house...I was thinking "wow, what a good girl, she's done her business and she's going straight back home", only to find a very small dead mouse in her mouth:eek: Of course I couldn't let her keep her prize  I'm glad you're letting Roxy keep her "loot" 'though...lol.... |
