What is the difference between a Parti Yorkie & a Biewer yorkie? The reason for the coloring comes for a gene mutation right? Just something I've always wondered about these colorful cutie pies

The only difference that I can tell you is that the parti's have no standard set for them and that they are off different blood lines. I am not sure if the Parti's can be put in the show ring. I show the Biewers because they are considered a breed of their own and can show them with the International Clubs. I only have the Biewers, but I think the Parties are as beautiful too.
