We have one that is pretty small, maybe the jr? The squirrels are cute and they always want the same one lol. They do love those wiskers. So far the toy has held up really well. Poor Luna can't figure out how to get them out of the trunk, but all the other dogs can do it. Luna is a bit behind developmentally lol.

Do you have the junior one or the large one? I can only find the large one. I want to make sure it's not too big. Louis does the same "growl" to some of his toys. I don't think that he would be able to scare anything in the wild with the noises he makes. LOL

These are the different sizes of the toys

TreeSize OutsideHole Size SquirrelSize

Junior - 5"W x 5"H 2" diameter 3" long

Regular - 7"W x 7"H 2 1/2" diameter 4 1/2" long

Jumbo - 8"W x 8 1/2"H 2 1/2" diameter 5" long

Definitely I have the Jr. I don't know if the squirrels are all the same size with the others? I love the size of mine. I got it from Amazon.com.

I have the Jr and the Regular and the squirrel sizes are different. The Jr squirrels are approx 3" and the Regular squirrels are approx 4 1/2".

Which do you prefer? I love the little squirrels. They are a good size for my puppies. I am glad I didn't get the larger one, with the head getting stuck issue and all.

Zoey loves them both. The JR squirrels are easier for her to chew on but the Regular ones are fine too and she plays with both. I will say that while she will grab them out of the trunk in the JR, she does not tend to play alot the trunk itself.

The Regular one, the trunk is almost her favorite thing (tho she does love to run back and forth and 'trade' squirrels with me). But I, like others, let her play a little with it but then I remove it because I don't want her to hurt herself.

I guess this will all vary depending on how you play with your little furbabies and your furbabies themselves. All I know is, we love them here. So much so, we have the hide-a-bee and hide-a-bird hidden away from xmas. :cool:

Have you seen the animals that are flat (looks like roadkill actually) and have like 6 or so squeekers in them? I have one of those tucked away for Christmas. Can't wait to see how they like it. They will be in squeeker heaven! I want the hide a bee too. I bet these guys would love it! Maybe I will try the bigger size.

My dogs love it. I also have a Playskool air popping ball machine, Arielle is obsessed with balls. Several dog love balls so I put the machine inside a ball pit with a tunnel attached and they go crazy. It burns some energy!

I have the smallest squirrel hideaway! They like it but I think they have to many toys to pick from sometimes so they rotate pretty quickly!

Hmmm, are the roadkills the Egg Babies?

Zoey has the Egg Babie Fish and loves it (she has the alligator and the dinosaur set aside for xmas too - or maybe birthday). They are really pretty first of all, and while she does not really dig them out of the belly much, she loves the squeekie balls and the fish gives me a place to keep them all together during clean-up. I got them at a really good price from www.CareALotPets.com. I do know that Amazon has them too:

YES!! I have started to take some of her toys away for awhile and them bring them out periodically like they are new. I also keep toys in the different level exercise pens so she has variety. I must admit that in the beginning, everytime the UPS man arrived, he had something for her. NOW - she thinks she must get a present daily... BAD MOMMY - must get training I must (winks)

WOW - what a great Idea.... will have to try and remember that for maybe her birthday. If I do anymore now, I may get divorced!! ;) (j/k)

I got Yogi the large and he does fine with it. He is a larger Yorkie tho (around 10 lbs)!
