I have seen posts on here for MONTHS complaining about these prices being outrageous, not the norm and all. It is the Norm and I think at some point it just has to be accepted as such. If you can get a "good deal" elsewhere and are happy with the dog you get then you should be thrilled but please quit criticizing others for seeing the value in these creatures and realizing their worth. I drive old cars because I chose to spend a little extra on my yorkies to get what I wanted and I don't miind at all becuase they have added 10 times what i paid for them to my life already. I have a firend who put her vacation money toward the puppy of her dreams becuase it was her priority and she knew she would get way more from the puppy than from the vacation. It is all about what you really want and how much value you place on it in the end. I am not trying to hurt anyone's feelings here but it always surprises me when this subject comes up how many people who are always raving about how much they love their dogs and how they are "their children" but when it comes right down to it, they don't even think they are worth $5000. Most people don't care about the breed standard or showing and place zero value on a dog for those qualities. It is only the small minority who value that. I have a certain look that I like and after you have been around yorkies awhile everyone figures out what they like. We all know that very small is in demand and no one who wants a really small yorkie is into showing it. |

I wouldn't take any amount of money for Lexy and would pay every dime I have to have Gracie back! It is different, though to pay large prices for puppies we don't already know and love, though. You are right to a point about prices being an individual choice though. I just think that as puppy prices get very high, more disreputable people will breed the tinies regardless of their well-being. That's what worries me. |

 I thought the same thing!!! For that price, you would at least post a better picture! |

Well I think if she was so concerned about his health and welfare, she would be aware of what tests she had the vet do on him and what the results were... |
High prices low prices! When I went to get Princess, I fell in love with her. There was another baby I saw, who was just so cute, 1000 less too. But it was Princess who stole my heart. This $8500 might just steal your heart if you saw him. I do think she could have posted a better picture. But who knows, my Chihuhua who was saved by my husband & kids was only $350, our love for him is the same as Princess. How much you pay for your baby isn't all that important, It's the love you have for eachother that counts. :) |

:yeahthat: I totally agree ... at this rate there will be more & more for sale because there are those breeders out there who want to offer what will bring the most money! I just feel so sorry for those tiny creatures who will be put through it!! |
