Molly Molly turned 2 the end of Oct. and weighs just under 5 lbs. I think ..the last time she was at the vet she was 4.3 but I had her weighed at the groomer and they said she weighed just over 5 lbs. But I think they were wrong or shes really eating good..*L* Diana and Molly |

Yourkeepoo question I have a 6 months old puppy. He always been a pudgy fluffy hair ball.A month and a half he got his first haircut and due to matting in some places , groomer shaved hair on the sides and legs. After that he started looking long ,skinny and tall, and kind off shaggy .It has been 6 weeks since that day and his hair just started to grow a little bit, but he still looks with tall this legs, thin and long. Will he ever look fluffy again? thanks you Charlie's mom |
firstpuppy, You should start a new thread...this one is pretty old. Try to post pics of your puppy before and after his haircut. Did they shave down his whole body, top, sides, chest, legs etc? You make it sound like they did the sides, but not the top? My pictures (click my user name... then choose view profile, the album should be on the right side, click to open. If it's not showing then choose statistics tab and look for photo albums) show that Maggie (yorkiepoo) looks totally different depending on when she was groomed. She looks tall and slender when cut fairly short (not shaved) and as her hair grows she looks fatter and shorter. She has many different looks depending what kind of "hair" day she is having. I like her freshly groomed with longer legs, she looks sort of graceful rather than pudgy and slow. If you want to avoid having yours shaved again you need to keep him combed or brushed to keep the mats away. I only comb her about twice a week. She hates the brush. It is about an 8-inch long metal comb that the groomer at Petsmart suggested. If your dog is a yorkipoo, or any combo of 2 long-haired, non shedding breeds it will grow. If there is a shedding or short haired parent--I don't know if it will. |

She is beautifull, not just adorable. Love her puppy pictures also!
