Is your yorkie 100% house trained? Is your little one completely house trained? |
We have two yorkies. Gypsy,3, and Prissy, 2. We got them both 1 year ago. Gypsy was from an awesome breeder and 110% house trained. Prissy is a rescue and wasn't house trained at the age of one. We have had her for 11 months now and if you had asked me two days ago if she was 100% house trained I would have said yes. I no longer crate her when I go out. Yesterday, we swung by my sister-in-law's house to see her daughter's halloween costumed and Miss Prissy ran in the house and peed on her new area rug!!!! And she had JUST been out for a walk. Today,we were visiting another friend and I caught her as she just squatted to piddle on their carpet. My answer: my dogs are 99% housebroken when they are at home, but you had better keep an eye on them if they are in a different environment! |

I love all of the Ontario people coming out of the woodwork! |
Sophie is 99.99% housebroken. The.01% is our fault if we don't notice and she can't get out. She'll even go out in the wind and rain to do her business if her door is open:D. She's a great little dog and smart as a whip! |

HI! :animal36 |
Layla is 100% housebroken- but that took a few months! Now she rings a bell that is hanging from the front door. She can hold pee for a VERY long time but if she has to poop and you don't hear her ring the bell- she will have an accident- but that is my fault- not hers. it took her until 8 months old until she was sleeping through the night. |
Yes, Cooper is 100% house trained. We never used pee pads, we crate trained him from day 1 and took him out CONSTANTLY......seriously every hour and got up in the night as well to take him out. Chloe is our new baby girl and of course to little to be house trained, but she is doing awesome! She has started to whine the last couple of days when she has to go out to pee. |

You taught her to ring the bell? That is great! |

Sophie is outside and pee pee pad trained. I would have bragged on her, but I found a wet spot upstairs on the carpet earlier. Jacie is still getting used to being with us, but if he's in his xpen, he's a champ with the pee pee pad. He'll do his business first thing in the morning outside as well. Just working on his not lifting his leg in the house outside of his xpen. We'll get there. |
No, Apple is not 100% housetrained, but I am...lol...In other words, if I take her out, at least every 6 hrs. or so, she doesn't go in the house...She sleeps through the night, and if I take her out at 10:30 p.m., and then again at 6:30 a.m., she's good to go....But if I wait 'till 7 or 7:30 a.m., she will wiz on the wood floor (not such a big deal, and easy to clean)...So for the most part, I'm trained :p |
Winston is 100% trained, he has never had a single accident in the house...he knows he has to go outside to potty, what a smart guy I have...I'm so proud of him. |
I would say Bonnie is 98%. She has not had an accident in the house, but her pad is in the bathroom, and sometimes she pees too close to the edge of the pad and it runs in the floor. Also, some times when she poos, 1 piece will be on the pad and 1 piece will be on the bathroom floor:confused: I think she is a poop walker:rolleyes: |
