New Puppy Needs A Name!
 
Hello again!

I picked out my new puppy tonight!!! I am SOOOO excited. He's only 7 weeks old (as of yesterday) so will stay with the breeder until the end of November but I need a name!! I would like the breeder to start using the name, too. :D Right now they are calling him "Shane".

I didn't know whether I wanted a male or female and so far had only picked out girl names :eek:

I chose the only boy left. He just took to me more than the girls and I couldn't say no (I knew I would make a decision once I held them). He gave me lots of kisses too. :)

Please help me pick a name. She took pictures so as soon as she sends them to me I will post one. I had a camera in my purse but my hands were full and she was snapping away so I said so be it. I'll just wait until she emails them to me (I hope she hurries!!!). And I can't wait to bring him home!!!! :animal-pa

Hi LilysHuman,

She just sent me pictures so I need to figure out how to post them on here. I wish I could do it tonight but I am SO tired-usually in the bed way before now (I am so excited I can't sleep yet). I looked at the pictures she emailed me and I could tell he was getting tired of the photo shots, she didn't take that many but he let me know he was tired of the flashes. At least now that he is mine he won't have to worry to much about the picture taking (until I get him home :)). She sent me some pictures of him sleeping tonight, too so I am glad he is settled.

and OMG, my boss went with me to see the puppies (she's so cool) and we had a few minutes to spare before getting there so she suggested that we go to a pet store!!! (she read my mind!!). They give free samples too! I didn't know that!! The kibbles are sooo small..and cute. YES I have a lot of shopping to do!....Exhausted now. Going to bed....

baby books are a good place to look if you want a human type name. Do you have a favorite sports team like a "Raider" or a "Bear". Or a city like "Dallas" or "Denver"? I've seen Brooklyn on here for a girl and a boy.

I'm sure you will pick a great name for your new baby. :D Donna

I'm tired this morning, lol! I'm glad I am taking a week off from work when I bring him home!! Thank you for the name suggestion. I am going to try to attach pictures and then off to work (running late, too).

I tried to attach the pictures but it didn't work. It says my picture is 2.40 mb and it needs to be less than 200 kb. I don't know how to make the photo take up less space :(

I'll try again this evening. Have a great day.

I think the name Toby is cute. For some reason little Yorkies look like Tobys to me.

Also, since they originated in Scotland, Scotty is cute. My puppy is a female, but when I was looking for a name for her I saw a lot of great names for boys. Try googling American Indian names, there are a lot that mean bear or little bear.

I am at work and it is SO hard to concentrate. I am talking to everyone here about the little darling. They are going to get soooo sick of hearing me talk about my little darling, lol.

I haven't had a chance to look through all of the names/links you all have sent me but so far I like Baxter, Caden, and Nemo....I will look more when I get home. :)

Hobbies, omg. I have so many. I like to cook, build things, internet, games, eat, lol.

I like that Yorkie Teacup Figurine that keeps appearing on the banner. Has anyone purchased it? It is SO cute!

picking out a name is SOOOOO hard! my husband told me I made it way too difficult. my sister asked me what was the first thing i noticed about my Yorkie... I told her his ears... I came up with the name Yoda :O) it doesn't have to be a common name. Be creative!

LOL!! Well, I was worse. I did click on it. Now I want them!! But I have to save my money to spoil my new puppy... :)

What a cutie! He reminds me of my Jack when he was that little! I love the name Baxter! Regardless of what you name him, you will end up with so many nicknames for him, it won't matter. LOL

Oh! I am so excited for you!! We just got Brooklynn about 2 weeks ago. (I didn't realize how popular Brooklynn was going to be... her dad is also Brooklyn, so we added an extra "N" to be different!)

I like names that are not really popular, here are some of our other ideas.

Dang, I clicked on excited thinking you picked his name...LOLOLOL!!! I can't wait to see what his name will be. This is so exciting and I'm happy for you. He's a cutie!
