| Inside the Mind of a Yorkie? Hi guys So... I'm guessing that there are...what I will call..."yorkie-isms" that Yorkie's do, but my dog does the funniest things sometimes that just baffle me! (well, really they make me laugh!) Do any of your babies do any of these things? (or have any other silly things to add?) - After a bath, he finds the closest carpet, and lays his face on the ground and pushes with his back feet in circles to get dry. Looks like a wheelbarrow! - When he's chewing his rawhide toy, he'll TOSS it off the couch and then whine until I put it back close to him. Then he just repeats it. Over and over. - Everytime I go into the bathroom for any raeson, he'll drop to the ground and roll around like a worm, growling. - When I get home from work, he'll position himself on my chest to give me an arsenal of kisses, and he paws at my mouth repeatedly between kisses. I'm sure there's more yorkie-isms that I'm missing... Is my dog just weird, or is he just 100% pure blooded Yorkie? |

| Sophie does the after the bath running and rolling too. She also throws her toys up on the couch or on the floor and plays catch with herself. The other thing she does is walk on her hind legs hugging my legs with her front paws(even when I'm walking) with a toy in her mouth when she wants me to play some more. She knows all her toys by name and will go get the one we ask for. She likes to crawl on our shoulders when DH and I are sitting down and shower us with kisses kisses kisses. She is such a sweetheart Jackie & my Sophie |

| Daisy likes to 'sass' me! If she is told 'no' or 'leave it,' she will obey....but only under protest. A Yorkie is that perfect combination of loving affection and outright spunk, don't you think?

| I agree! Max likes to growl (almost like a groan) and roll his eyes when I ask him to do things, especially basic commands. I think he is trying to tell me that he is above doing silly dog tricks. |

| Buddy does the raw hide throw, but I have to get it for him. He also likes to wipe his face on the carpet after eating. After a bath, he does the mad dog dash, around the house. When I come home from work, I cannot enter the house until I have picked him up, as he is on his back with his legs in the air at my feet.

Jillie: The second Eddie leaves a toy, she scoops it up and drops her own. Eddie: When he gets bored, he sits close to me and stares, barking occasionally. When he's real bored, he'll chew on my pants leg. Eddie: Bullies me into giving him treats. He follows me around relentlessly until I give up and have him do some tricks so he gets rewards. Eddie: Buries toys and bully sticks in the yard in the fall and digs them up in the spring.

Then when I finally give in and give him attention, he'll roll over onto his side, and stare and me and make funny growling noises Lol | |

| I wish, oh how I wish, I could get into Buddy's mind! He thinks like a human, he really does. It's so scary but it's so true. He knows my every move. If I don't do the samething when arriving home at night he sits and stares at me and grunts wondering why I didn't do something like I did the night before. He constantly bosses me around grunting to get what he wants. It's just hard to explain a little dog who is part human. You have to be there or own your own to understand. You all know what I mean. |

| Cooper does many of these things. Sits on our shoulders like a parrot. Gets the zoomies and runs all over. Plays tug of war with toys with Harley, our Beagle mix. Takes food from his bowl and runs to the living room to eat it. Every morning he begins barking at me when I put my shoes on to leave for work. He will stop if I give him a treat, of course. lol
