Rocky is 17 months and just over 8 pounds. He was the "big" Yorkie of his litter and weighed about 2.2 pounds at 7-8 weeks. He is a jumping machine! I am concerned about his joints and love the idea from a previous poster about taping shoe boxes together. I looked at the price of stairs and they are very expensive! |
My sweet Niyah weight 3 pounds and she is full ground. Has no health issues at all. I think she must have been born into a family of heavier parents and Niyah was the runt. I don't know for sure because I am her second owner. But no matter what, she is healthy and no matter if Yorkies are small, it doesn't always mean they will be sick or have problems in the future. I do find her feet and legs to be fragile when comparing them to my cats that are her same size. The bones in her feet are fragile and you can feel them and know it. She is my companion. As for the couch, I have to lift her up but she can get down on her own with no problems. |
