Very sad and need moral support
 
I posted yesturday in sick and injuried about my 14 yr old yorkie possibly having lymphoma. Well when I got up this moring there was runny stool very dark and my little boy is very very weak. He had poop stuck all over him so I gave him a bath to clean him up and he could not even stand in the tub. I dread taking him in to the vet. I am worried that I am loosing him.

You and your baby are in my prayers. It has to be heavy on your heart to come to this. May you hold him dear in your heart and have courage to get through this trying time. Think of all the joy he has brought you and know that he knows you love him and he loves you too. Please keep us posted and let us know what the vet says :rose:

I am so sorry.. Two years ago I had a cat who had thyroid cancer...so I know how tough it is! like someone else said...just try to think of all the positives he has given you!

There are no words to say to make your sadness go away. Just know that you have many people here that are carrying you close to our hearts as you have this difficult time. Please keep us posted. Prayers for you!

He will be there for you when you need Him. You need to try to stay strong for your baby, he'll sense it if you aren't.

Oh my heart is breaking for you but I do know that you will do the right thing because you love your little one so much and you will not want him to suffer. It hurts and you want to rip your heart out of your chest but through the tears you will have a smile on your face because of all the love you received from this little bundle of fur. Love will get you through this.

I am so saddened for you and I so hope you have someone who can go with you to give you physical moral support. I cannot imagine how you must be hurting but hopefully your dog can pass peacefully when it's time. (I'm sorry I didn't catch the Yorkie's name.)

I pray your decisions will be clear when it's time to let go. I believe in miracles but from your post it sounds like you are facing a reality of eventual loss.

Most of all, whatever you decide, I wish you peace.

I lost my baby
 
I just got back from the vet and it is with a heavy heart she confirmed my greatest fear LYMPHOMA.. she could have done bloodwork but from the exam and the amount of lymph nodes that were enlarged and the fact that he was having digestive issues and no fever it was pretty obvious. She said he was so weak that she was worried that he might not make it even a few more days and she would have to keep him in the hospital. She said if it were her dog she would not put him through anymore and to let him rest in peace. So I have to believe that I did the right thing for him. It is never easy making such decisions.:cry:

I feel so sorry for you. I am dreading the day that I have to put down my cocker spaniel and I know that day is coming. We send our prayers to you and your family. Just think that your baby is at the Rainbow Bridge with all the other dogs that have left us. He's running around making new friends and will be waiting for you.

I am sending prayers to you. I know you did what was best you didn't want your baby to suffer, but it has to be so hard. Just know he is not suffering now and think of the good life you have given him.:angel: i am sending this angel to watch over and comfort you.

I hope and pray that this isn't the wrong thing to share with you. First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss. Secondly, with all my heart, I want to have 14 years with my baby. I'm happy you had that blessing but saying goodbye is crushingly hard. You are a selfless person to have done what was best for your little one. I want what you had even though I know the end will come in my lifetime. And then I want to come on YT and feel so much love and sympathy. It is sincere and from the heart.

I am so sorry you have to go through this
but you need to think of your pup ... and that his suffering will be over

We have our time with them while they are healthy
Unfortunately we tend to outlive our pups
so when the time comes we need to do what is in the best interest for
them and make their passing go with as little suffering possible
