Please help? Dated info... I know there are rules about this so I posted what I need to say on my profile page...I think that's what you call it. It's on the page for visitor's messages. Please take a second and read the message and act. I know our friend would never attempt this for herself or her son so I'm butting in...LOL Now, to make it a real legitimate post, anyone have any suggestions about what is the next thing I need to teach Taffy? I've done sit and lay down but don't have a clue as to what should naturally come next. (If you've caught my earlier thread about the impression she gave the instructor in puppy class, you know that I'm planning to try to knock his socks off this week with how smart she is! Frank and I both got the impression he doesn't rank Yorkies as high as he should...LOL) Anyway, I'll try to adjust my attitude before the next class because if I go in there to show her off, she probably won't do anything. We have found out though that the girl loves recess! And, by the way, thanks for acting on the above stuff. |
I never have figured out how people get their thread titles to appear in bold! Somebody needs to teach me...LOL |

It always makes me feel washed out...LOL I keep hoping I'll figure it out but I haven't yet but that's not too surprising I guess. We read, watched, and acted;) Debra, you must be very proud.:) As far as tricks go the two that I am glad that mine learned are stay, and come... the only thing is that Copper will only stay and Maddie will only come:rolleyes: haha I have to tell him to stay and then go and grab him if I want him to come, and there is no making Maddie stay anywhere:p but if i tell her to come she is right there in a flash lol |
I thought about that "come" command but Taffy is always by me to begin with...LOL Seriously, I'm perplexed over how to even lay the groundwork on that one. She's doing "lay down" really good except sometimes it crosses over to the "playing dead" mode. But by golly, the girl has "sit" perfectly! But you are right, she needs to know come and stay. |

Guys, my guess is that the visitor message will be expired by noon or perhaps a bit earlier so please don't delay. It is so appreciated and YT has really made a tremendous difference in the last couple of hours...woo hoo! On a Yorkie note, the household was sleeping wonderfully until the pest control guy called to schedule the termite inspection. Grrrr...maybe the next thing I need to teach Taffy is how to ignore phone calls that wake us up when we've only slept a very few hours! Everyone have a great weekend! Looks like we're in for more rain so ours will be soggy... |
