| Ok, they're 8 weeks old now They are 8 weeks old now :-) One is off to the breeder and I have two boys left. Bandit weighs 1.10 Max weighs 1.4 Sooo, if my breeder is correct, Bandit will weigh about 5# as an adult and Max will be about 3.5 or so???? Is this correct? Does anybody really Know? We may keep Max - he is sooooooo cute. And we NEED another yorkie like we need a new hole in our heads. LOL Their color is good, Max is kind of curly on his rear but according to data posted on this website that is common. Both have more hair than Mom, but appear silky. Neither puppy's eyes glow red in pictures or with a flashlight. They're not really green but more of a blue. Thanks for all your help, it's so nice to find a place like this. We can ask questions and expect respectful answers. This is NOt the norm - you guys know that - right? On one site I got lambasted bigtime just because I wanted to breed my little girl. Jeanne |

| I heard you can't go by the eyes til they are about 4 months old because the babies are are almost always come out blue. I could be wrong but I thought that is what I read here. Anyway I would love to see pics also...

| [QUOTE=Lexi's_Mommy]I heard you can't go by the eyes til they are about 4 months old because the babies are are almost always come out blue. I could be wrong but I thought that is what I read here. 4 months? That is exactly the info I needed. I had not heard 4 months - just that they would not glow red. So I really don't know about the hair yet. I feels silky (all puppies do don't they :-) They have more hair than mom. Dad had lots of hair but still felt silky. Lots more to take care of though. My mommy is Lexy, too. :-) Little Max has a really short nose and holds his little tail straight up. <G> He's a cocky little guy. First one to walk, first to eat dog food, first to climb over a threshold. I don't sound like a proud mommy, huh. thanks for your help and encouragement guys, Jeanne |
