I know that if I am about to spend £500 - £600 on my new pup, there is no way it will be going anywhere I dont know about! |
i think there shud be a big bill to those breeders that have loads and loads of dogs , and also getting the public to take part in reporting these byb s. just a thought lol it will be interesting to see how it will pan out |
Seams weird that over in Irland they're putting up the fees when they stopped them over in England years ago as it prover un-enforcable. Organisations are still pushing to get micro-chipping made the law, but some people have been cutting them out of dogs to prevent them being traced when dumped or stolen. Dogs used to have to be liscenced by the age of 6 months which is why you'd get a glut of 6 month old pups arriving in rescue years ago. Law abiding people will always comply with the law others will just egnore it. With so many people struggling to make ends meet at the moment I cant help but wonder how many more dogs will end up abandoned because of the price hike. |
yes they stopped it here to, this will be in in june, i will keep a tab on it to c if i can get more info ,, i wud love to know how they wud inforce it, |

I'm in Alabama. My community charges $10.00 per year for altered or $25.00 for non-altered. If your dog is altered you can also get a lifetime license for $35.00. |
