| New to yorkietalk Hey everyone, Just joined yesterday, because I miss my little Izzy so much, I am abroad right now and haven't seen her in 5 weeks!! Very sad... but she is with her dad and is in good hands. Ok just wanted to say hello!! Also, I have been talking on speakerphone with Izzy, do you think she recognize my voice? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part? |

| Welcome! I know your pup can recognize your voice. Try tape recording your voice and playing it back for them sometime. They listen and cock their heads.

| Yes, I think she does recognize my voice, because once my husband actually recorded a video of me talking to Izzy on speaker, and she just looked at the phone very intently and she was moving her head left and right like she was listening... So I actually had a dream two nights ago, that I went back home and was so happy to see Izzy... and she was mad at me and ignored me... I guess I am just feeling very anxious. Oh I MISS HER SOOO MUCH!! |

| Oh yeah, I am sure she will recognize your voice over the speaker....my DH calls home during his breaks at work sometime just to say a quick hi to me but to "talk" to Cooper....I put him on Speaker phone and Cooper knows it is him because he goes and gets his ball and lays it by my feet knowing daddy wants to play. Welcome and looking forward to seeing pictures of your baby soon! Hope the time fly's by until you are together again.
