Noisy little one I know that Yorkies can be yappy at times, but does anyone else have one that talks, whines, growls in their sleep? Also any tips on stopping the whining would be appreciated. General Lee is getting bad and I have tried many different methods to get it to stop. He whines when I am not paying 100% attention to him. He gets walks, I play with him until he is panting and he still get very whinny. He throws his toys at me for attention.

Both of mine have been known to make sounds while sleeping. Sometimes they bark or whine and it's really cute when their little legs move like they're running in their sleep.

My suggestion would be to get another yorkie to keep him company! You are his one and only connection. He went from having his litter mates and mama to you and your the one he looks to for everything. A friend would give him someone to play with when you can't and I always thought that's why God gave me two hands, so I can love on two puppies at once.
