My first dog was Oscar in my adult life. He will turn two on Oct 12th. I got him when he was ten or 12 weeks old...so he was my tiny lil guy. I love him so very much....he ate something that mad him sick in August, he threw up the entire day...so worried about him...took him to the hospital, he was admitted...visitied him on my lunch hour...non stop crying...I love him so very much and never want to see him sick, or feel pain. I get really torn up in the couple times he's been sick...i can't even work.

i think it's love.

I believe there is another post very similar to this one. And, Yes I do love my babies as much as my human ones. They are part of my family.

Apple ate a salimander, once, and threw up for several days...I don't know who felt worse, Apple or me :( I do think, however, these little ones, are good about getting rid of things that don't agree w/them, so I'm sure your baby will be o.k....Just hang in there, and this too will pass...

I don't have children of my own so my animals (2 cats previously) are my babies.:) They have consoled me when I needed it and just loved me no matter what. They are the loves of my life. :)

Bentley will be two in october and I have had him since he was 10 wks old I believe. He is like a child to me. About a year ago he hurt his toe, and we thought it was broken. I cried like crazy. He was shaking and so scared and he couldnt tell me how he felt. It wasnt broken but it tore me apart. He is the love of my life... sorry hubby :-)

I know how you feel they mean the world to you. I was in such a state when I lost my jessie this year , I couldn't talk about it and took a week off work so yes they mean everything.I do tend to worry a lot about Tia my yorkie baby because she is small and picks up things she shouldn't and shes had to rush visits to the vet with belly ache.

I'm a brand new owner. I've never had a dog, or cat for that matter, and I do love my yorkie. They say that dogs don't love, and only live for the moment. They say to be stern and don't talk to your dog like a child.....I say, "What's the point of even having one if you can't love them and have to act like a drill sergeant." I do love my yorkie. She's exactly what I need and I don't know why I went this long without one. My little companion. :)

Yesterday, I was brushing Josh's hair. He gave me some kisses while I brushed his hair. When I finished grooming him, Josh did one of the cutest things. He circled around me, got in the beg position (trick), leaned forward, and gave me a kiss on my face. He did this behavior two more times. His behavior really amazed me. His behavior was cute, interesting, and funny. I love him, and he loves me too. I could not ask for a more loving companion. :aimeeyork:love::aimeeyork:love::aimeeyork

It was puppy love at first sight. 1 1/2 years later I love her move than when I first laid eyes on Armani. She is my sweet cupcake!

My husband and I don't have kids yet, but we love our furbabies just as much as we will love our human ones we are sure! We got Joey about a month after we got married, and we can't believe he will be 2 in May!!! Tank is my little mamma's boy (Joey is too, but not as much), and he's just my sweet little baby! He is going to be 1 on November 1st - Crazy!!! My boys are part of our family, and they know it. I cannot even describe how much I love my Yorkie Babies.

My "fur"girls are my kids!!! I do have 2 skin girls also...Erin is 31 and Courtney is 26...They tell people I love my dogs more then them!! LOL....(not true but,) I had always wanted four children and I wanted all girls...God had other plans for me and I only had to skin girls....so....I decided to get female yorkies.....NOW I have my 4 girls!!

I know exactly what you mean. My Yorkie is my one and only baby and i can not wait to get home after work to see and play with her. She sleeps on my pillow at night and I absolutely love her to death. I get so anxious to see her at night, it is not even funny. She is my life. Only 3 months old now and looking forward spending my life with her.

Lol, exactly. I didn't think about it but i think you are right I do have separation anixety!:D Sometimes I feel like my roof is moving because I miss my boy so bad! Couple days later he got something into his mouth and was very sick. Now he is getting better (i pray) but i think i got some grey hair on my head during those to days. At the hospital, when i came to pick him up he was crying when he saw me. We just set up web camera to watch him, and I see him right now taking my shirt and sleping on it...awww

I have always been a pet owner and have truly loved all my pets but there is something about these two yorkies that have just pushed me over the edge. I love them as much as my human kids and am just as protective of them. Like right now, Bella needs to get fixed but I am so terrified something will go wrong I can't bring myself to make the appointment. The thought of it makes me a nervous wreck, much like when my human kid has to have surgery. I know that y'all are the only ones that can come close to understanding this. My friends don't have yorkies so they just don't get it.

Absolutely its love! Luna is already EVERYthing to me and I haven't even had her for very long! Shes just a mommas girl and keeps me company and puts a smile on my face
