She should be having her litter in the next couple of days. I've asked the breeder if I could purchase one of the pups, and I'm waiting for her response. She knows that I've been wanting another puppy from her ever since I bought Missy. BUT.....I need to know how to convince DH! LOL! Tips, tricks, suggestions, briberies? ;) What should I do? He hasn't said no (I haven't even asked yet). I really, really, really want one of Missy's siblings, so *if* he says No, I need to know how to change his mind LOL! We all know that Yorkies are like potato chips...you can't have just one. :p

Please keep your fingers, toes, hairs, legs, and everything you've got crossed for us. Most important is that everything goes smoothly for Missy's Mom with delivery, and secondly so that I'll be a new Yorkie Mommy soon. :)

Good luck to Missy's Mom, I hope she has a nice safe whelping:heart: Your Missy is SO darling, I can imagine how great it would be to get one of her siblings!!!:)

The above quote I am sure has been used alot. And when he finally finds out, those little things called tears will flow from your eyes. He will have to say yes then. I'll be praying for you.
(by the way, I have 3 yorkies, 1 yorkie/poo and a dachshund) So it is possible. They all get along great. Good Luck. :thumbup:

Oh I'm so excited for you. I hope he says yes. Another Missy WHAT???? too cute. How could he say no? I hope everything goes well for the mama and you can get another one. They are just like kids. The more the merrier :D

I'm gonna pin it on him in about 10 mins when he wakes up (working night shifts). Hopefully he's so groggy that he just says YES! :p

Good Luck!! I told my DH that my puppy could be our Anniversery present, and Christmas! He gave in, and agreed.

Yeay! How exciting!! You know if you brought home another Missy, I highly doubt he would say anything but " omg let me see that baby"! I think just bc it would be from Missy's mom and you know they are going to be so cute. How could he say NO??? I dont think so :D

Missy is so adorable, how could he say no?!! I worked on my hubby and it was actually pretty easy. We will be getting our baby girl in a few weeks :) Good luck and keep us posted!

Missy is one of the cutest babies on this site (and I really really mean that), so I can see why you'd want want of her blood-line...Missy would be her Aunt!!! As far as talking your DH into it, well, you're on your own there lol...Good luck!!!

The puppies will actually have the same Mom AND Dad as Missy's. So would they be considered Missy's siblings? Dh is still zzzzz :mad: I feel like going and jumping up and down on the bed screaming MISSY'S MOM IS HAVING BABIES!!!!! Can I have one? HUH? HUH? HUH? :p

Dh prefers female pups. I don't care either way really. I do like dressing up girl yorkies, but I'm sure that I could have a little GQ stylin' boy too.


Soooo, I couldn't wait any longer...I went in and bounced on the bed with my announcement. He kind of groaned and jokingly said, "oh no, not another 6,000 dollar dog" (refering to Missy's leg surgery, spay, shots, clothes etc), and I said, "That's ok! Missy's made up for all of those expenses by being cheap to feed. Besides, she really only counts as being half of a dog since she's 3 3/4 lbs, so I want my other half a dog". :p So, he hasn't said yes yet, but that definitely wasn't a NO :D

How about this angle? Tell him "Can you believe we have an opportunity to get one of Missys sibs??? Wow, I never thought that would happen!! We are sooo lucky! It's kind of like finding the tool you've always wanted on sale, better grab it while you can!" -LOL- You always have Christmas to fall back on. Tell him that he wouldn't even have to go shopping, the new puppy could be your gift;)
